I miss everyone. How are babies and percolating babies and stuff?
Work is still the suck and I see no end for the foreseeable future. Things are coming to a head today but won't level out for several months. It is funny how something you come to depend on can change in a heartbeat. My job is very safe but it will never be the same again. My best friend/boss is resigning today (please no facebook give away) and will leave on the 23rd. In one fell swoop I have lost my best friend, and haven't been given so much as a hint as to why he is leaving and how it came to impact what I thought was an unbreakable bond between us. I am crushed.
I leaked coffee on my Nook, my brand new nook and now it doesn't work.
Babycopz took all the joy out of prom dress shopping by falling in love with THE VERY FIRST DRESS SHE TRIED ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean WTF, it usually takes twenty trips and countless hours of trying things on. She just sucked the life out of me last night

Not much is going on around our house - March Madness is upon us so we did a family bracket and the kids even have their own brackets. It's making it a little more fun! oh! I have new pics:

And b/c I'm an AW - some of my new favorite outfits for Scarlett. I can only hope 3.17 comes in here so she can see some Matilda Jane (since she thinks it's fug!).
A hit 3 months last Thurs, in the midst of that he had 3 or 4 nights last week where he woke up 3 times a night (normal is one, maybe none).
He is now a different person, he naps less, is incredibly observant - all he does is look around at stuff, and he can entertain himself for 30-60 min at a time (before it was 10-15 tops). He's happy, talks even more than he did before, doesn't turn into a gremlin in the evenings, smiles all the time, and is generally a pleasant human to be around - It's quite nice.

I go back to work today! I'm inappropriatetly excited. A has been to daycare for two half days, and is doing fantastic, he's like a new kid and we can tell he's getting a lot out of the new stimulation. Besides keeping up with pumping, the only thing I'm worried about is how to respond when people pity me for how hard it must be.
ooo, have a great first day back! I hope the pumping goes well - I know that's a huge source of stress for a lot of my BFing friends.
her curls are ridic. My husband has curly hair, and it appears that she has inherited the curl but not the color (he's a blond). She wakes up from her nap and her whole head is sweat curls. It curls up even more when it's humid/hot. We call her Bill Murray all the time b/c of how her hair looks when it gets crazy, lol.

Well. This will go poof soon, but I'm awfully proud today of my little brother, who turns 21 soon. He just got promoted to Lieutenant by his volunteer fire squad and he's just the best. Handsome too! Look!

Sorry about the work stuff. That is the svck. My boss of many years was my very good, if not best, friend. I would have been miserable if he had left before I did... honestly, it won't be the same, but it will be OK.

He loves building stuff - legos, blocks, train layouts. And, for some weird reason, he's great at finding stuff. Like, anything... we say "Xander, where did mommy leave her keys?" and he finds them. It's super cool.

Marisa is officially registered for Kindergarten. Here she is at her 5th Birthday party.
Natalie is learning her colors. It's hilarious when she's not sure, because she lowers her voice and trys you out. "Geen? Pu-ple? Laylow?" She's also my little daredevil. Here she is going down the big twisty slide at the park, by herself, and climbing kitchen chairs to get to the cheetos.
She is talking up a storm, and repeats anything and everything. Marisa loves to teach her new words, and she loves to do anything Sissy asks. As you can also see, she is still super tiny with a huge, huge head.

I know I'm coming in late, but I love that dress! She did suck all the fun out of prom shopping for all of us, though. I hope she's happy.
Abby has taken to moving herself around her crib pretty well. She tends to wake up completely flipped from where she started. I put her down for a minute before to go blow my nose, and by the time I got back, she had scooted herself in a half circle.
