I went to the coolest meeting today
I was invited to receive a certificate for being awesome from the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice for being a clinic escort. There were speakers (a Reverend who just retired from the CEO position of RCRC) and State Rep Barbara Flynn Currie, who is just awesome. I was the youngest person there by about 30 years, and I shamefully showed up in jeans and sandals. Goddamn hippie.
I love hearing people talk about the olden days of activism, and I got all pumped up about volunteering more. It was like being in a PCE meeting, but like 40 years from now. I love smart people.
