I had the most P&CE-tastic vacation ever

Seriously. Pentagon, Capitol, Supreme Court, monuments, American History Museum. There was public transportation. There was great food. There was even unsolicited weight loss advice. All in all, it was fantastic and oh-so-patriotic!

  • DUDE. I wished I'd had a rascal for the monuments. We walked pretty much all of them on Wednesday afternoon. It was ungodly hot and humid, and we were already so tired from all the walking. We did Arlington National Cemetery on Friday. It was 86 degrees, and I damn near died. Who expects to get sunburned while visiting D.C. in early March?!

  • By Friday, I meant Thursday. Clearly the heat fried my brain.

  • I'm insanely jealous it was that hot. We had a great Wednesday but not quite shorts-worthy.

Ha, yeah I think that walk is like 8 miles. It is currently my post baby workout, but you are right this week has been crazy hot.

  • Aside from the heat and advice your trip sounds awesome!  I'm glad you had fun.
