NCAA: Sigh. Memphis, Memphis, Memphis.
One of my brackets is now toast. I had us getting past SLU, but falling to Mich State. I love my squad, but I have to say it. Pastner's youth shows up when we get into hard ball contests. I kept trying to figure out why the hell Ferrokhan Hall was in the game. One day Pastner will be a decent coach, but our record against Top 25 teams is the tale of the tape. We've only one 1 game against a Top 25 squad.
I'm going to take off my team colors and cry now.

What a night... I can't believe they all lost. It has certainly been a day of upsets.
I screwed up. I thought I had Missouri for two games, but by a fortuitous error I had clicked Florida to beat them. YAY!
I'll say it now because it's probably the last time I'll be able to say it in regards to the pool. As of now, 10:04 pm est on Friday, WINNING!!!
DH is hoping for Detroit over Kansas to make it 3 #15 seeds. I hope he is right.
Crazy night! Can't help being happy to see Duke get taken out in an early round.
It is an interesting mix of teams this year. I can't say I've ever seen so many mid-majors getting into the tourney.

Vandy's still in
Yes, this is about the only time I'll get even vaguely excited about my school doing well in a sports event. Mostly b/c it pretty much never happens. Also, I love watching the major players go down in flames.
Vandy has a special place in my heart. It's in TN AND they beat Kentucky! Go Commodores!!!
I actually picked both Memphis and Michigan to lose...OU beating the Wolverines had me positively giddy last night (and not just because it's Michigan. Correctly picking any upset makes me happy

Now, I'd better turn off this Ohio State vs Gonzaga game...this is NOT the matchup I wanted and it's scaring me.

I went away from the game in irritation about five or ten minutes ago. I don't like most OSU fans around here, they're like North Korean Kim-worshipers or Jonestown zealots when it comes to their team, plus it would help my bracket immeasurably, so I REALLY want Gonzaga to win. I should never do a pool because it ruins the event for me.
If you need nonbasketball entertainment and have cable/satellite, Jurassic Park is on Spike right now...it's keeping me occupied quite nicely. Ohio State's winning but not by as much as I would like. I just hope they can keep their shits together.
I was down a little bit until Indiana won after a great comeback. I love Tom Crean, so I was really happy about that win even aside from the bracket. DH and I have The Descendants but are probably going to hold off on it until Monday or Tuesday.
