Santorum Joins the Topless Presidential Candidate Club
Rick Santorum recovered from stirring up a little controversy in Puerto Rico by relaxing shirtless next to the pool at one of the island's resorts. Unfortunately for his modesty, some of his fellow sun worshippers were passengers on an all-gay cruise, and they sent this photo of Santorum to the blog Joe My God. BuzzFeed posted it shortly after. And with that, Santorum becomes the fourth, possibly fifth presidential candidate to be photographed topless for the world to see.
Santorum is not alone. This month, BuzzFeed reposted photos taken from the mommy blog of Mitt Romney's daughter-in-law. They showed him looking fit while topless on the beach.
But while Romney is well-known for staying in shape, it isn't so obvious that Ron Paul is pretty cut too, for a 76-year-old. Paul posted Facebook photos of himself in the pool in June.
In June, TMZ reported that this was a photo of Newt Gingrich sunning on a Mediterranean rock while on his infamous luxury cruise. His spokesman denied it was Gingrich.
Rick Perry, who was often swooned over for his looks, merely showed off his legs:
And of course, there's the guy they're all competing with, Barack Obama, who was famously photographed shirtless in Honolulu in September 2008.

That Santorum just happened to be topless as an all-gay cruise passed by is merely a coincidence, I'm sure.
Huh. Mittens looks pretty good, actually. Surprised he allowed himself to be photographed topless - my H (also Mormon) refuses to take his shirt off in public. Might just be my H, who is the whitest white man ever to white something, but I swear I remember him telling me that they're not supposed to be that naked around other people.
And if that is Gingrich, he looks like a beached whale. The pic of Ron Paul is actually kind of adorable, though.
