But I'm so waiting a couple of weeks to see it. I hate going to crowded theatres with annoying people, especially annoying teenagers, which I'm sure there will be plenty of.

I can't wait either, but I expect it will probably be 2 weeks or so before we see it. We're going away this weekend, for one. and then DH goes back to work for 2 weeks starting Monday.

I wouldn't want to go opening weekend anyhow. I want to see it asap, but dont' want to deal w/ the crowds.

I can't wait! We plan on going that Sunday afternoon to the theater right by our house. We've done this with other really popular openings, and it's worked out well. It's been about a year and a half since I read the books, so I don't remember all the details. Hopefully that will help with the book/movie comparison.

Me!! My 2 friends and I will be at the 12:01am showing. It is a tradition we have to go to midnight showings of movies we really want to see.

Me! It's sold out at the theater I want to go to opening weekend (Fri and Sat night) so I'm going to wait for the following weekend.

I hope it lives up to expectations. The trailer makes me a little nervous...

I am going to a 10pm showing on Friday night with a couple of friends. We already bought our tickets are a hoping that it'll be late enough to be less of an all-teen crowd.

I am so excited! Going Friday night, my friend and I got tickets to a theater that allows you to reserve seats, so you don't have to show up early and wait in the long line for decent seats.

early reviews are very positive so I have high hopes.

ME! I can't wait!! We bought our tickets weeks ago for a showing on Friday. I really wanted to be able to see it in IMAX and it's only showing in IMAX for a week.

ME! Unfortunately due to a work conflict we're going to the 7 p.m. show. I'm hoping because we are going to a nicer theater that actually checks your tickets at the theater entrance, and monitors texting/talking, we won't have to many teen issues.

I'm so excited! I am going Friday evening the 6:30 showing. I know it's going to be busy, but I can't wait and I'll deal with it. Plus if there is excessive talking or texting I have no problem being that girl in the theatre to yell at them.

Me! But I've never been to a midnight showing, half because I always have to work the next day and half because I don't want to deal with loud/obnoxious teenagers. I'd like to go to a matinee on Saturday or Sunday, but may wait another week or two for the crowds to die down.

Me!!! We're going to an IMAX midnight showing. Anybody that wants to see it in IMAX should be aware that's it's only in IMAX for 1 week, so don't wait too long.

I'm so excited! I'm not braving it opening night, either. I can't stand annoying teenagers. I'm going to wait until mid-April to go see it on a Tuesday...in the day.

I'm going opening night with a bunch of friends. I got them all hooked on the books. We are going to a theater that has 21 and up only sections, so we will be in that section. Drinking it up while watching the movie and avoiding the teenagers.

I'm going at midnight and can't wait!! One of my friends and I are seeing it in IMAX but the others didn't get tickets in time so they're going to a regular screen at the same time.

i REALLY wanted to do the midnight showing, but i promised one of my best friends that we'd see it together, and she works that night, AND friday night. then saturday night DH and i have a wedding, so we're going monday evening. i'm SUPER excited, we have DIY shirts

and my friend and i are going to ulta for polish on wednesday.

me me me me!!! DH is taking me to see it Saturday night and I'm so excited. I would have gone to the midnight showing but I did that for the last Twilight movie and I dragged ass the entire next day.
