NDR or DR Poll: Things you're "over"
Re: NDR or DR Poll: Things you're "over"
Chevron patterns. Especially painting a piece of furniture in this pattern. I don't like it.
I'm already over the NCAA tourney and everyone talking about their stupid brackets.
I'm over Jersey Shore and all of those dumb people making more every episode for acting like a complete jack ass than I will make in my whole life. Seriously? Why do people find those idiots interesting?
I'm over the parents of so many of my students acting like they're parent of the year because they can give their kid an xBox and a four-wheeler, but can't give them school supplies, lunch, or winter coats. Oh, and quit being your child's friend; you're their parent, so make them do their flipping homework and teach them how to respect others, instead of letting the TV or the internet babysit your child so they like you. And there's no reason an 11 year old should be quoting Stepbrothers in my class. Over that, too.
I'm over Mitt Romney. So over him. If he becomes our president, I'll be over America, too.
I'm over people doing trends because it's a trend and not because they like it.
And I say Amen to homemade starburst/sunburst (whatever the hell they're called). I do like some of the non-homemade ones that don't look really mass produced.
I'm over my MIL finding small things to judge me about. I'm not perfect, but I'm a good wife to your son, and a good mother to your grandchildren, and really, nothing else should matter that much.
I'm over politics on FB. It's a horrible medium for it, and I am considering shutting down my account until after the election.
I'm over America's discrimination. I get so passionately upset over the inequality towards gay couples, I don't know how they themselves handle it. They are strong people.
I'm over neutral on neutral on neutral on blogs. Try some color; it won't bite you!
Thanks for starting this thread.
I'm over FB. It is a major time suck that consists of the same dribble from the same people.
I'm over blogs and HGTV making me fee like my house is not good enough because it's painted a color that is 'so 2010'.
Speaking of blogs, I'm over YHL and about 15,000 similar blogs.
I'm over reality TV. Seriously, it's just gotten so bad and tacky. I do not care what the housewives of Orange County are doing/wearing. I do not care about Ice T and Coco. And Jersey Shore is 200% garbage.
In a similar vein, I'm over America's obsession with Hollywood gossip and the media considering it newsworthy. Who cares if Britney Spears was walking down the street with VPL? I don't.
I'm over my neighbors allowing their kids to ride a dirtbike and 4 wheeler every day for hour. on. end. They are loud, and the noise drives me insane and disturbs everyone else in the area. I get that they want to have fun, but do it for one hour and not 5. Have some respect, people!
I'm so over not having a housekeeper! Ha!
Seriously though, I'm so over working my butt off only to still be broke. I'm over student loans and freaking Wells Fargo. I'm also over parents who can't give their own issues (drugs, selfishness, irresponsibility, etc.) when they have kids - these babies deserve more than parents who don't put their health and wellbeing absolutely first!
