Re: Good news Thursday
My baby turns one in four short days. His birthday party is Saturday!
Even though work is slow, it gives me time to cruise the internet.
I'm finally going to take a cake decorating class starting Monday.
The semester will be over in less than a month!
After school gets out, I'm going home to visit friends and family, and attend a conference, and since I'm attending a conference my university is paying for my plane ticket!
And after that I get to take a month-long research trip to Europe, which will involve a great deal of wine and fun times!
I only have two more days in this office, and then I work from home full-time!
They're making an Anchorman sequel. FINALLY!!!!!
I start officially teaching at the local yoga studio on Monday. I've been teaching my own classes, but this will be the start of my full teaching schedule, so I'm excited about that. I spoke to the owner on Tuesday and he offered me another time slot (that would make three classes at this place) and mentioned that they might be able to offer me more money. Since I've only subbed there so far, I was beyond flattered and really grateful. I'm hoping we can use yoga money to pay down our house debt, we'll see.
This Saturday H and I and six of our closest friends are going to have a wild and crazy evening - dinner, bar-hopping, a concert, then after parties. It's been a long time since we had a crazy night out (since last summer) and I'm kind of looking forward to it. I'll be pre-gaming with extra benadryl, don't worry. H and I have already figured out the bus schedule to get downtown and I've got a cab company's number in my phone.
I get to leave work early tomorrow.
I've lost 15 lbs since January without actually trying. I know my ticker says 0 lbs, but that's from my official weigh in. DH and I are having a weight loss competition. I'm gonna kick his hiney.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
It's the best!
Have a fun weekend coming up and looking forward to it. Also excited that I have NOTHING to do after work and can hit the hay early tonight for a change. Lame I know but its the little things.
Four weeks until I leave for my free European cruise! I'm most excited to go to Tunisia. I love that I'll be able to say I've been to Africa.
My birthday is next Saturday. I've been telling H for a month that ALL I want to do for my bday is see Titanic 3D (although I have James Cameron with the fire of a thousand suns... I HAVE to see Titanic in 3D. I'll begrudgingly give that fooker my money... THIS TIME!). I also told him that for my bday dinner, I want to go to The Cheesecake Factory. I'm fancy!

A wonderful opportunity to get DRUNK!!!!
And now you know why I keep laughing at HS when she tells me to get KU now. I am NOT going to Europe during a time when I can't drink. No way... no how!

You're going to have a fabulous time! What other ports are you visiting? Did I imagine that you mentioned you'll also be in Morocco?
Ooooh!
Tell me all the yoga poses you know, one per post.
I'm going to the grocery store today, which mean that we will actually have food in the house. If that's not good news, I don't know what is.
eta- I am very excited for your travel plans, Smock and imoan. Hearing about someone else's trips is almost as exciting as going on my own. Almost.
Are you serious???
MotherTrucker I just realized I have 115 more posts! DAMMIT. Luckily I know a lot of yoga poses Smock.
My car will be paid off next month. HUGE relief. Then I can start really chipping away at my CC debt.
I think I told you guys that there's another girl in my company who works on the opposite coast who has the same name as I do. Things were screwy with each of us getting each others emails for a while and it was annoying, but we've gotten to be pretty good friends because of it and we just became Facebook friends finally. Its so dumb but awesome. We have the same sense of humor.
Good for you - I'd like to hear more about therapy if you want to update us.
Woohoooo!!!
I'm going to Monaco- that's probably what you're thinking of. We leave out or Rome (I've been), go to Barcelona (I've been), Sicily, another port in Italy, Tunisia and Monaco (I've been).

Now you're just bragging.
I got humped last night.
My husband is really enjoying his job, and may possibly be moving into a position where he'll be off every weekend, instead of every other.
We love our apartment.
I'm starting to care less about the quality of my work, and more about my rate of productivity, which is apparently more important, at this particular bakery.
I have a sewing machine, and the materials to make my curtains, and that is my intended upon project for my next few days off.
ooooooooooooh GTG!!!!!!!!!!!
I have tomorrow off! The boy is coming back from his conference today.
Bowling is planned for tomorrow. And I am HORRIBLE at it, but it's so friggin' fun.
Strange as this sounds, it's exciting that I got a script for BC yesterday...cross fingers that the month-long cramps will finally be kaput!
