I enable (by default because I'm not helping her) my alcoholic friend because we have a blast when we go out together. Also, she doesn't listen or think she has a problem. I know she won't get help until she's ready and I don't want to lose her as a friend right now.
(I do pick her up and not drink when we go out though)
My Mom's husband irritates me. Last time he came to town, he told me I need to get rid of my dogs and I totally wanted to tell him that my Mother will get rid of him before I get rid of my pets.
They are coming this weekend to watch the BF and I in the 70.3 and if he gives me one ounce of attitude toward the dogs, I am going to tell him off.

I was inwardly judgy while I was at the animal shelter. The people who adopted the puppy I wanted were very poorly dressed, had a baby with them and obviously didn't know anything about pit bulls or puppies in general. I wanted to scream at them "don't adopt the damnn puppy because he is "cute" when you don't know how to raise it! I could do a better job than you!". I obviously didn't do this but it makes me sad.
Also, BF is away for the week for training. I told him that that I would miss him but I am actually glad he is gone lol...

Yeah, I agree! He hates dogs and doesn't understand why I do all the things I do for mine. He is the reason they are spending extra $$ to pay for a hotel and not staying in my extra bedroom. He doesn't want to stay at my place because of the dogs. I don't want to be disrespectful to him, but even the slightest bit of negativity towards my dogs (he likes my jerkface cat) he is going to see a side of me that he has never seen before...

Here's my flameful. I decided to just let the house go into foreclosure (we're actually doing a short sale now) because my half was $1200 a month and I wouldn't be able to live on my own at all on my salary if I had to pay that. I'm not planning on buying anything in the near future and decided I'd rather have my credit score take a hit than my quality of life.
what does what they are wearing have to do with anything????

yeah, that's the thing with me- I'm living with my parents now. I can't afford my own place while paying the entire mortgage, so my choices are to stay with my parents indefinitely and keep up my credit score, or get my own place.

Okay, here it is: If you can't afford to wear clothes that are clean and not full of holes and tears then how can you afford a damnn puppy and all of the vet bills/food/crate/etc! And don't tell me that dude was working on his car because the entire family (including the baby) was dressed like that.
