Last month we read "Watership Down," which is all about rabbits (we also decided which rabbits represent which TIP posters, YWIA). So what better book to follow our rabbit book than a book about flowers?! (see, rabbits EAT flowers.)
This month, by popular demand, we'll read "Flowers for Algernon." (note: it's not really about flowers.) So get reading, TIPers!
Also, because of busy schedules (ahrumph, imoan's international cruising), we were thinking of a shorter turnaround this time (because let's be honest, only 3.5 of us will actually read the book, and none of us will start more than a few days in advance!) . . . So how does Friday, April 20th work? Feel free to celebrate 4/20 in whatever way you deem appropriate, but just make sure you READ THE BOOK!
Re: April TIP BC--which book won?!? Come inside to find out!
I think I can... I think I can...
As long as the book is ay the library, I'm good to go.
Can we keep a record of all these eager participants so we know who to check in with later?
Good idea, Muddled! We can shame those who claimed to be readers but ditched us at the last minute.
And I'm going to pick up the book at my library today!
Shhhhh! Don't scare anyone off, Smock!
