Does h&f do flamefuls?

I think coconut water tastes like_cum. I don't know if that in itself, but I feel like saying so here might be. What have you got?

LOL!! Will you keep drinking it?
  • Hell no, I'm married 7 years, I don't have to do that anymore. Lol

Just a little on the face or bewbs?
  • I think the marathon and half marathon mileage car stickers are odd. I would totally be proud to have accomplished either one, but I can't imagine putting a sticker on my car for it. I also can't think of any other adult accomplishments that feel like they merit a sticker? Although I'd have no issue with someone sporting a tshirt or other fitness apparel with that on it.

I also think some of the Crossfit gear (knee socks and stuff) are probably flameful but I'll abstain since I wear them :) Although I'll happily flame all the Crossfit tshirts that act like its a superior sport (our box has a "Our warmup is your workout" shirt that I would never wear and feel like deserves plenty of flames).

  • Mirana, no need to go anywhere. Although I feel like this has turned from a flameful to an ask me anything. Your turn.

  • Not really flameful, but every time someone passes me on my bike or running, I always say in my mind "I could kick your _ass in the pool.", even though I don't really know if I could do it. I just assume!

Honestly, I'm the first to admit I have NO clue how good it would feel to accomplish either one and I'd probably get a billboard and a tattoo to advertise my success :)

I just get irrationally annoyed by them even though I'm fairly slow. I.also feel like a rockstar even when I pass someone else, even walkers lol.

  • OK here is one. Last night DH wanted to do the nasty. I was so tired. So I promised that I would tonight. Well, I'm more tired today than I was yesterday. I might have to crawl in bed before he gets there and make sure that I am sleeping. Sorry DH.
  • 1. I don't get compression gear. I think it's a scam.

    2. I have no issue whatsoever running in cotton shirts.

    3. Outback before races is a good prerace meal.

I don't like me clothes sticking to me. I ran in my sports bra even though I have chub today. It was hot and I got some color (although that is probably flameful also).

Chub? I saw your picture the other day, girl, there's no chub.

My FFC: I don't buy expensive workout gear. Most of my stuff comes from Old Navy and the GAP (but only when it's on sale at the GAP.) I have a few running items from runningwarehouse, but even that stuff was cheap. I'm hard on my workout gear and get tired of it quickly, so if I don't spend a lot, I don't feel badly replacing it.

haha, i dont buy ANY workout gear.  all my stuff is hand-me-downs from friends that had boob jobs, professional athletes with too much free clothing and active ambassadorships.

i think in general tshirts are overrated. in the summer, why bother? they get sweaty and gross!!  i think more people, including hot men, shouldnt bother with unnecessary fabric.

  • Hmmm. . . I did the p*ssy pickup yesterday (you know, calling someone for a ride from my cell) on what was supposed to be my long run. It wasn't even an injury or anything that caused it - my own stupidity with eating a huge meal ahead of time. Then hurling on the sidewalk in a relatively crowded downtown area. Yes, it was quite a banner running day for me.

    I feel the same way!

The only gu flavors that I will eat are chocolate, chocolate mint, and peanut butter.  All the other flavors remind me of cold, flavored_cum.

  • I will never, ever do prenatal yoga, and I want to punch people in the face who suggest it to me.  As if yoga isn't boring enough already.

I watched a Zumba video for like a minute on YouTube once and wanted to bash my head against a wall.

    Lol at the *** discussion.

Mine is kind of a repeat - I dislike the stickers on cars. The whole world does not need to know you ran a 5k. People do this every day. To be fair though, I dislike pretty much any type of sticker on a vehicle.

    I've never seen a 5k sticker???
  • This post makes me smile. Can we make it a weekly feature?

This isn't exactly h&f, but I'm a little jealous that a girl I met in September at WW, and whom I've sat with for the last 34 weeks every Wednesday, has talked about her wedding to me for months and didn't invite me, even after complaining she was going to waste money on food for people who cancelled after the final count. B!tch, I'll eat the food that's about to go to waste. I'm a fricken professional eater - that's why I go to WW!

  • 1) Coconut water is disgusting

    2) My DH wants to get a 0.0 zero sticker for his car (he has run six marathons)

    3) It annoys me when distance races that also have a 5K don't mention the 5K on the shirt or give them a separate shirt.  (I am pretty much supportive of all forms of physical activity, but walking a 5K is not the same as running 10 miles)

    4) I may have gotten in an argument with someone on FB who said that running was the worst exercise ever and tried to discourage my cousin from running.

  • I love coconut water and I keep meaning to get a 13.1 sticker for my car.  So there's that.

Here's my flameful:  I burned my ass tanning this week, literally.  I am generally against tanning because I fear skin cancer and I don't want to look like a saddle when I'm fifty, but I've developed this awful skin condition (pitarysis rosea) that leaves me with these red itching welts all over my whole torso, and the only thing you can do for it is wait out the 6-8 weeks it takes to run its course.  Tanning is said to reduce its duration, so for the first time in my life, I went tanning.

And I burned my ass.  I'm so sore right now it isn't funny.
