1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My best friend, because she's F-ing fabulous.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? It's a tie between Molokai and The Kommedants Girl. Both historical fiction, and both had you drawn into the story. I think it helped that I had been to both places (Hawaii and Poland) so I could just imagine myself there in the setting. I couldn't put either book down.

3. Where was your longest road trip? Hmm... Portland to SF? Beautiful drive, made it a few times.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Boring. Met the XH at a coffee shop when he just came up to me and started a conversation...everyone else? Bars or online dating.

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? What happens after?

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? I had a party at my house while the folks were out of town. It got WAY out of hand...and was huge. Things were stolen (like my mom's jewelery box), pool furniture was thrown in the pool...place was trashed. Awesome. I was grounded for 3 months and owed my parents $1000. Which was alot of babysitting $ when you're a sophmore in HS.

7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? The National-Final Empire. AMAZING song.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My best friend. Her 30th is in June and I want her to have a much better one than I did.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? I love to read but I don't really have a favorite book. I usually read and forget about the book. I don't really think too deep about them.

3. Where was your longest road trip? From Kansas to Orlando, FL when I moved there for three months in college.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Gosh, I've really only been on dates thru someone i met at a bar or online dating, so nothing too exciting.

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? What's the next chapter in my life going to bring?

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Sneaking to the next town over to cruise their Main St.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? Hmmm... probably my daughters. Wouldn't be celebrating anything in particular, but we'd invite all their friends from school and daycare and have a blast doing all their favorite things.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? Dean Koontz "The Mask". It was the first book I ever read by him and I have fallen in love with his writing. Unfortunately, I haven't read any of his new books after "Odd Thomas". I need to get back into them.

3. Where was your longest road trip? Florida (from NY). Took a break in between though. NY to NC was about 12 hours and NC to FL was about 10 hours.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Most of the guys I've dated I've met through friends or work.... But I did meet a guy from a Yahoo Chat Room years and years ago. He was from NH and I'm in NY. He and a couple of his friends came down to visit, but we never dated. However, not the smartest idea!

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? Kind of a strange question, and I'm not sure I really want to know the answer, but it's a question I've asked before and gotten different answers... Which cat of mine did the mean, stupid dog across the street kill when I was little? My dad says it was the family cat, the one we thought ran away. My mom and brother say it was the cat I got for my 9th birthday that my dad let outside, even though she was an INDOOR ONLY cat, when my parents were separated.

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Got trashed at a party and my friend and I went to some guy's house who I barely knew from about 5 years before. He wouldn't let me call my parents or leave and tried to sexually assault me. We ended up leaving the next morning and called her parents to pick us up. We found out our parents had spent the night looking for us- at the party, at the river, at the police station. I actually grounded myself for 2 months, but my mom lifted it after about 2 weeks.

7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? Tie between "We Are Young" and "Somebody That I Used to Know"

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My BFF coming home from living in another state. I miss her like crazy!!

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? No single book really stands out to me.

3. Where was your longest road trip? Seattle, WA to San Bernardino, CA

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) I dated the Comcast guy who came to install my internet.

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? Hah I am happy not knowing

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Around two weeks after I got my drivers license I went to a friends house and had a couple of frou frou wine spritzers, waited two or three hours, and drove home. I was totally fine, but my friend was wasted when I left, and in her mind I was pretty messed up too. She called me and my mom overheard her saying "You were pretty intoxicated when you left last night" I was grounded for quite a while.

7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? Ho Hey by the Lumineers

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? For the Wednesday W(h)iners--the group of my friends that go out every Wednesday after dance for drinks/apps--because they're like my family here, they would all do anything for each other, and they're awesome.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? Hard to pick...Dracula is the first one that comes to mind. I just like fantasy books.

3. Where was your longest road trip? Virginia to Saint John, New Brunswick (17 hours, nonstop)

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Oooo, I have a good one--we were in a mime together!

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Reading Anne Rice books that my parents had deemed inappropriate

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My dad...he is so generous to everyone around and never wants any recognition. Bout time we throw him a bash.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? The Road by Cormac Mccarthy. Was really dark and suspenseful.

3. Where was your longest road trip? Central IA to South Padre Island for spring break. Driving 20 hours home after a week long bender is pure hell.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Cant think of any but old GF and I use to meet on back country roads to do the sex.

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? Will I find "the one" and live happily ever after with her

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Mailbox baseball....not smart and restitution took all my summer spending $$$...but I deserved that.

7. What's your favorite song lately (not of all time)? An oldie but goodie...Down In A Hole by Alice in Chains. Seem to be searching for that song on my ipod a lot lately.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? Ask me in a week and I will probably say my best friend. I think she is going to accept a job in another state and move away. I'm happy for her ... she is totally stuck in a rut and needs the change ... but I will miss her terrible.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? Honestly, I loved Bridget Jones' Diary. It was fun, witty and honest.

3. Where was your longest road trip? When I was 4 my family moved from Alabama to California. We drove up to the Dakotas and then back down to CA. We saw a lot of cool things on the trip and it was just old enough to remember a lot of them.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) I met most everyone I dated in traditional places -- school, work, etc. So I guess it would be my bf and we met on eHarmony.

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? When is bf going to propose? Based on things he has said, I am guessing it is sometime in July, but I am so curious and impatient!

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Forging my mom's signature to get out of a class in high school so I could have lunch off campus with friends. My group of friends and I would have our mom's write a note to get us each out of 4th period once a month to go have a girl lunch. We were good students, so as long as none of us had a test that day, they'd do it. Well that day, I forgot mine, so I wrote it myself and forged it. I put something odd in it apparently and my mom happened to go to school that day (she worked at the district). The secretary asked her about it, and she totally covered and said she was half asleep when she wrote it. But when I got home, we had a nice little chat about not forging her name anymore. LOL!

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? My mom who is awesome and helps me out so so much with DD. Actually, I am going to have to throw a party for her. Her 60th is next November.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? The Hunger Games trilogy was awesome!

3. Where was your longest road trip? I think it would have to be the road trip we took out west when I was a kid. We drove from Illinois and went all over the place....South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, etc.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date) Don't think I have a strange circumstance. Most have been online or friends of friends kinds of things. I did date a co-worker once. Is that strange enough?

5. If you could know the answer to any question, other than "what is the meaning of life" what would it be? Will I ever meet the one and get married? I'm dying to know.

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble? Hmmmm....I was a pretty good kid. I got caught ditching school. I drank and may have done a few other things, but I never got caught. Guess that doesn't count!

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate?

Uhm how about everyone. We could celebrate Saturday (or whatever day we want too) I don't really need a person or reason to throw a party. I kind of just do.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it?

I really liked reading "Youth in Revolt" - It was entertaining. I also liked "Naked" - That was pretty funny too.

3. Where was your longest road trip?

Miami to Pennsboro, West Virginia - By way of Kentucky

Why do men like Boobies? I've wondered this forever and for about a year I asked many men of different circumstance for their opinion. My favorite answer which wasn't really an answer was from the singer of (hed)p.e. "I don't really know ask god"

6. What did you get caught doing growing up that got you into the most trouble?

I'm not sure. I was a pretty good kid and my parent's were pretty laid back.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate?

I'm lame. I'd throw my son a kick ass Lorax-themed 6th Birthday.

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it?

Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison (No, not like the ridiculous movie). I read it at 16 and it completely changed my view of the world. AMAZING BOOK for anyone to read, although probably way too heavy for the average teen.

3. Where was your longest road trip?

We moved from NC to UT over the summer and drove 2500 miles.

4. Where is the strangest place/circumstance that you met someone that you dated (could have just been one date)

I haven't had any strange ones.

Where are the good men? LOL

Sneaking around with my boyfriend. Pretty much the only thing I ever did wrong.

When I was in college one night I drove off with my wallet on top of my car! It never turned up but a guy called me and told me he found my license. I asked him to mail it to me and he insisted on hand delivering it even though he lived like an hour away. When he arrived I invited him in bc I felt bad for the long drive. We chatted for a bit and after he left he called me to ask me out.

Will my son be able to live independantly and hold a job when he grows up

My best friend who just turned 30. She wasn't feeling good so we didn't really do anything special.

Almost anything from Stephen King. I love horror in all forms.

When I was 17 my BF cheated on me with a girl we were at the movies with (Yes I was there) I found out her BF's name from a mutual friend and told him and we hung out and started dating for 2 months lol

Will my youngest outgrow his painful shyness and the strange behavior and ticks that come with it.

Slept at my bf's house when I was 16 and lied and said I was at a friends house. Parents found out and I was punished for a month.

1. If you could throw a party for anyone, who would it be for and what would you celebrate? For my BFF to celebrate her pregnancy. She has been trying for baby #2 and for her to finally be pregnant is such a blessing

2. What's the best book you ever read and what did you like about it? Lately, "The Help". I haven't been doing much reading lately, too wrapped up in the divorce process still

3. Where was your longest road trip? New Hampshire, to Arizona. It was an adventure and I would totally do it again, next time with someone else
