WDYT?: PIP

HI Ladies, I am having a girls weekend with my mom, gram and aunt. We are going to a taping of the Dr. Oz show and they say to wear jewel tones and that dresses film nicely. I bought this at ON today (it looks better in person). I was thinking with either a black belt, black tights and black shoes or a hot pink belt, no tights and I have no idea what shoes. WDYT?

Is the weather still cold wherever Dr. Oz is filmed? It's been 80? here for a month now, so you'd definitely get the side eye for wearing black tights, so I vote for the hot pink belt.

I wouldn't do tights...I like the idea of hot pink or even coral. I would do nude or maybe hot pink pumps. I would also wear a necklace, something like this.

Black is too "wintery" I would wear nude/tan shoes with a pop of color in the belt and/or accessories(I like the hot pink idea) .

I'd have to see the pink with the dress color - my first thought is that it's too many "brights" near each other for me.

I'm leaning towards a black belt with black flats or flat sandals or a cognac belt with either cognac, gold or nude shoes (flat sandals or flats).

Thanks ladies. It's in NY so the weather could go either way.Right now it's forcasting 62 and sunny but that could change. I'm in MA and its about 50 today, cloudy and cold. I think I will bring both nude and black pumps and play it by ear.

I wouldn't do tights. I'd wear nude pumps. And I like this so much, I just put it in my shopping cart.

I have that dress too. It's very cute and comfy!. I would wear a navy belt with it, and nude shoes.

I'd do either a hot pink or goldish belt with nude pumps. Whenever in doubt on what color shoes to wear with an outfit, I go with my nude pump. Also, as somebody commented about an outfit idea I had last year that paired blue with black "very 80s" so that is why I suggest a nude pump instead a black one.
