Re: s/o cont. theme - Phobias
Ironically, I've had, since I was a little kid, recurring nightmares about dangling or falling off both drawbridges (I grew up in a town that had tons of them) or ski lifts. Recently, though, my nightmares involve plane crashes and explosions, and maybe a runaway train or two, preferably a mile under water.
Earwigs are the insects that freak me the eff out. All climbing in your ear while you're asleep.
I'm pretty paralyzed at the edge of something high, my legs get that wobbly funny feeling, and I'm afraid that I'll randomly fall even though, generally speaking, adults don't spontaneously fall while standing. That doesn't mean I stop hiking on cliffs or standing on the edges of buildings. I'm dumb like that.
Is that the super long one? It is definitely gorgeous, flanked by all that clear turquoise water...yet still I want to hurl.
And add this to my list of nightmares. ::shudder::
