How was everyones weekend? Did you do anything exciting or productive?

E is cleaning up some things in the house. I'm waiting for my picnic table legs to dry so I can finish the top and then paint my little benches. I'm trying to decide if we are going to do all the benches purple or if some are going to be bright green. My Adirondack chairs are a bright navy. Decisions decisions.
I think we are going to Home Depot later.
As in you guys went and had pictures taken for your 6 month wedding anniversary and are mailing them out to people?
Is this common? I've never heard of anyone doing this. Not gonna lie, if someone mailed me that I would definitely be side-eyeing it. Just seems wayyy to AWish to me.
I'm sitting here procrastinating going to cut the grass. It's effing hot as balls out, but my grass needed to be cut a week ago and I was just busy all week with company and sealing/staining our deck. If i get enough ambition once I'm out there I may weed whack and/or wash the cars.
My weekend is still in full swing!
We watched a friend's baby overnight and that was eventful, I don't think I'm quite ready for #2 yet! Went to the mall yesterday for some retail therapy. This morning was my first Bible study and then we stayed for church. Dinner with friends tonight! I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.
Started packing and planning out our move. 1.5 months until this train FINALLY leaves. Eek!
I'm hungover right now. I went out with friends last night and got pretty buzzed. I hate hangovers. I hate the fact that as I get older my hangovers get worse. Damn you age!
I just had my mcdonalds (my go to hangover food) and am now watching True Life: I'm supporting my man. It's fantastic.
I plan to just clean up the apartment today and such, probably facetime with H later on.

Got my nails done yesterday and my hair done today. It's been a good weekend. We've just been relaxed and cleaned the house.
I also busted my ass again and twisted my ankle pretty bad. It's the same one I twisted a month ago at Disney. I need to figure out why it's so week.
H is washing the cars and we'll figure out a meal plan for dinner this weak.

I've been checking the site everyday for it to become open. I'm so freaking excited.
Good! H just had his second tattoo yesterday and I'm jealous. I'm not feeling too good to do something exciting and productive. :-(

Gah!! I actually like your name! Mine is the one with the least amount of numbers lol, none of my choices were really that great. And I agree about them picking for you, I do wish I could have like 'refreshed' the list to get a new group of names.
And I'm like refreshing my email every 5 seconds. Haha.
I worked yesterday, came up to my mom's house last night--my stepdad is off doing a construction job several states away and that combined with the stress of her finals is making her bad blood pressure worse. So I'm staying with her all day today and we are watching Netflix (she is hooked on How I Met Your Mother and I'm trying to catch up on Army Wives--I'm only halfway through season 2).
I'm still super excited over the fact that I can now call/text H pretty much whenever since he is at his MOS school now. It's in Rhode Island, which is all the way on the other side of the country from me and was totally unexpected (it was supposed to only be a couple states away) but being able to talk to him helps and is a nice change from the lack of communication during Basic/MCT. And he is putting in for RA tomorrow so hopefully he will be able to come home for about a month while he waits for his classes to not be backed up. I'm crossing my fingers and toes and eyes!
It took about 30 minutes to get my "letter". I'm in Ravenclaw. Slytherin is in the lead for house points right now. Gah.

Interactive Harry Potter world essentially. It leads you through the story and gives background on stuff Rowling didn't have the room to put in the books. You can brew potions, duel, and gain house points.

I had my first dinner party last night and it went way better than I expected it to.
This weekend has been tame, but next weekend we are going to a live UFC to see Jon Jones vs Rashad Evans and I am going to DIE of excitement. We have excellent seats and everyone should be jealouseE.
My Sunday just began, but already I sorta walked in an AIDS walk.
I'm dog sitting, so I took the dog out for a morning walk, and my normal route was apparently the end of the parade. So, I walked with them a couple blocks. I'm sad I didn't know about it as I totally would have participated. I was thrilled to see the large participation, though. There are bands and all sorts of food in the park, and while that happens fairly regularly for various festivals, it's usually sparsely attended. Not this week!
The rest of my day will probably be spent continuing plans for our big trip in a few weeks. It's last minute, but I managed to book airfare yesterday. Now I just need a couple hotels.
