Help me plan my runs

My next half is a week from Sunday. I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow. Here is what I am looking at

Sunday (the 15th) 12 miles

 Monday- weights

Today- 4 miles with spped work

Wed- weights, travel

Thursday- I want to run, but I have a 1pm meeting and I am unsure if I can get into my hotel room in time to shower before the meeting. (I'm staying at a friends the night before)

Friday- yoga and I know I can run, but what distance should I do?

Sat- ?

Sunday- travel all day

After that I am home.  So I am thinking I can do my long-ish run as 8 miles and I don't know if I should try to do it before one of my work meetings while I'm away or wait and do it when I get back on Monday.

  • I would do 6-8 miles on Fri and Sat if you have time for it. Good luck!
  • So you think one run while I'm away would be enough? I was thinking it might not be, but I've been having trouble trying to find out where to fit one in.
