Rascal Avoidance Club check-in (wellness thread, not a no-kids thread)
Re: Rascal Avoidance Club check-in (wellness thread, not a no-kids thread)
Rick, fortunately for the rest of us, rumor has it you're headed home for good. It was a nice run though, eh
Sneaky witch with a b instead of a w; glad I read the whole thread through before posting so I could say CONGRATULATIONS and good luck with everything. From my understanding women who are in good shape tend to have easier pregnancies so here's to you and all your working out!
From taking my three days off from work I have lost three lbs and gotten back into my exercise routine. I also read three and half books and cleaned my house. My great mood lasted for two hours into my first work day back but f 'em. My goal is now three days of kickboxing / strength training, one day of yoga and two days of running.
Four months into the year and I have failed miserably at one of my New Year's resolutions - kicking the Coke habit. The soda crutch is totally a mental thing. I'm hoping the addition of a MKT assistant will help alleviate some of the constant high stress.
Congrats and good luck to everyone on their milestones and goals.

I'm back in the club!
I need help eating healthy while nursing. I am ravenously hungry but I'm not losing enough calories while nursing and have gained a couple lbs.
Me too! LOL
Congrats KCB! Welcome to world of pregnancy. I hope you don't experience all day nausea and backaches like myself!!!
Oh, so THIS is what the RAC is. I thought it was some tongue in cheek thing about avoiding people on rascals. You ladies mind if I join you? I could use the encouragement.
As of Friday I had lost 15 pounds total... but I think the 1 pound I had lost last week was due to barely moving off the couch since my surgery (and hence losing a ton of muscle mass) more than anything else. I haven't weighed myself today - I weigh myself first thing in the morning once a week, so I know that the difference isn't due to the time of day.
Also, congrats KCB!
My kid got sick last week and it really put a damper in my routine. My Noom calories burned dropped from 2500 in seven days to 600. SAD. I'm trying to get back on the wagon this week, but not very hard as evidenced by the ice cream and jelly I made over the last couple of days. But I did walk 2.5mi at lunch, so that's gotta count for something.
ETA: Congrats KCB! You're a sneaky lady!
