Summer Plans

Summer plans, I am headed to SoCal to see my bestest friend and we are going to Disneyland, and do other fun adventures with her. Then DH will meet us and we are all going to Catalina Island for 2 days. Then it's off to Utah! My brother is getting married and we will be there for a week. After which, we will come home to Vegas so T can get back to work and then I'm driving back down to SoCal to see the in-laws for Memorial Day weekend. The only other plans I have, is back to SoCal to see Ash in July-ish. Oh and a trip up to San Francisco sometime this Summer. Throw in a trip to Austin and another trip to Utah and that should be it. I am hoping to see Wicked again though!

Do you have family in the area or anyone that could take care of things if problems come up? If not I would probably go through a rental agency. My friend in Lake Stevens was going to go through one then had a family member say he would take care of anything for her so they just did it on their own. I would definitely list it on Craigslist and AHRN though because with that ship moving over from Bremerton there are a lot of families moving.
Hey Beachy! I do have a TON of family here, so between them and all my friends, they all said they will randomly swing by to make sure the house isn't being destroyed. My aunt is very reliable as well so I'm sure she will be more than happy to help us should something arise. I'm more concerned at just FINDING renters. We're hoping to find military so that they can hold us accountable and vice versa. We will probably post it on militarybyowner.com in hopes that we snag military!.. But we'll definitely have to post on Craiglist and things... I hadn't heard of AHRN so thank you for the tip!
It's the only stressful part about this move... I'm so excited to start house hunting at the new station

AHRN is all military too so I would probably post it on both sites if you can. I agree, if/when we have to rent our house out we will hope to stick with military too.

H will be gone. I am hoping to go see my family for a week, I haven't seen one of my brothers for two years and I have new niece that I haven't seen. Other than that work, probably take a trip to where the closest Ikea is and shop at some point. Maybe go visit my cousins that live 5 hours from here.

Lets start with two weeks from now and move forward.

End of April I'm going to Napa for a girls weekend for my cousin's bach trip.

Mid May my cousin gets married in Napa, I am a bridesmaid, yay me! This also happens to be happening on the same day as a good friends baby shower, not so happy that E and I won't make it to the shower but oh well.

Early June, dear friend's baby boy is due. E and I are "on alert" if she goes before her c-section date to watch their daughter until her mom gets here.

July is our wedding anniversary and we are trying to plan a trip to the Seattle area to see E's grandfather and just to get away.

August nothing yet but I'm sure there will be some.

September my brother gets married!

We are going camping a few times this summer to, dates and locations are TBD.

Also, I will be celebrating my last birthday for awhile, because I'm turning 29. Then I think I will just keep turning 29 for awhile after that.

I'm totally doing this tomorrow!!

This summer....I think mostly just working. We'll have moved closer to family so hopefully catching up with everyone. In my head I'm doing a lot of drinking wine on our deck, so now we just need a deck.

DD turns TWO (holy crap!) next month but its right before DH graduates from OTS. Hopefully we can have a small b-day party at a park there or even after we get back. His graduation is like 3 days worth of stuff so we'll be in AL for several days.

He leaves again about 6 weeks after he gets back so hopefully we can get in some beach days and lot of family time.

In August BIL and his girlfriend are hopefully going to visit for a few days.

I would love to do some traveling around the area, but part of me is just dreaming haha.

H's family visiting in May, Us doing something cool together in June - maybe do a Space A that's not so far. July I am visiting the states!!!!!!!! WOOHOO! So there will be things like, going to Target, eating at Chili's and other Cheap Tex Mex there. Then in August it will be time to really buckle down on preparing for baby the next month!
