Favorite movie of all time?
You can only pick ONE. And go!
Re: Favorite movie of all time?
This is terrible...
"Dumb and Dumber"
My Lunch Blog
Mine is not much better. Clue!
Grease
I own it on VHS, DVD and have the soundtrack on record album, cassette tape and CD. I've seen the production twice. I watch it every time I come across it on TV.
I love it.
Clue is an awesome choice!
If it were in the 'dumb movie' category, I'd go for "strange brew'
But really...'one flew over the cuckoo's nest' may be it.
This is terrible.
Updated September 2012.
My Fair Lady
with The Sound of Music being a close second.

We miss you and love you always, little firecrackers!
Currently Reading: Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes
That's a good one too. I love musicals.
The Lost Boys.
Judge if you must.
The Secret Garden (with Kate Maberly).
Pride and Prejudice (with Colin Firth) is a close second.
Ok, pretty much anything with Maggie Smith. She cracks me up and plays an epic old grump. It will be a sad day when she passes.

Loooove The Secret Garden! I have it on VHS!
The Labyrinth.
I loved the Secret Garden. I maintain that we who loved it as children had really good imaginations and epic attention spans, because it's a really mature movie for a youngster to sit through.
Exactly. After the movie came out I bought the book (imoan will smack me for that) and read it cover to cover in a day and then scoured the newspaper for articles. I still have one about the costuming. I just found it between some of the pages in the book a few months ago. I forgot I stashed it there.
I've upgraded to the DVD.
I have Labyrinth on DVD too. H rolls his eyes every time I put that one in to watch. He leaves the room. He refuses to watch David Bowie's nut cup for 90 minutes.

This for me. A close second is North and South, the Elizabeth Gaskell novel made by BBC
First one would have to be The Sound of Music.
Others would be Grease, The Shawshank Redemption, Breaking Away, Star Wars, Legally Blonde...
Mall Rats!
