  • I think there's a big difference in type of sweats though.  Like I would go out of the house (and do all the time) like this:

    but not like this:

  • lmfao.. but brit looks soooo schmexy in her overly-large sweats :P

Yeah... I understand the no sweatshirts thing... I didn't wear hoodies and things in public until I discovered lululemon. I love their zip-ups.

And I will go in my yoga pants/work out pants to the store if I am coming from the gym or it's late at night... other than that, not so much.

But like you said, you're dropping off and then heading to work out? I don't think that's unreasonable..

My lulu pants are about the only ones I'll go out in public in. I love them.

Haha I love mine too but those are the ones I wouldn't be caught dead in public in! No one needs to see my lady bits that closely!!

Yeah, I have a lulu addiction. It doesn't help that I live in a town with the 1 and only lulu Outlet in the USofA.  Dangerous... So my entire gym wardrobe is lulu. It's all so cute and flattering I don't mind running to the store in it after the gym (although the sweaty face and disgusting hair says otherwise :P )

They have other LuLu outlets.  There's at least ones in NY and FL too.

  • Wow, really? Didn't know that. The store here claims that they are the only OUTLET. I know that there are outlet malls that have lulu's but they aren't outlet lulu's, just normal ones. Either way, I'm happy it's spreading because I hate shopping online and I know there isn't a store at our new station... for now. :P

Brandie, I totally get that. I'm sorry you had those experiences.

Thank you. They don't really bother me that much anymore. But they still effect how I plan my life in small ways.

Brandie, I'm sorry you had those horrid experiences. I just want to hug you. :(

    Thank you. You're sweet.

But like you said, you're dropping off and then heading to work out? I don't think that's unreasonable..

Well....really I'm dropping off, going home to work for 8ish hours, and then going to work out.  No one sees me between drop off and work out though since my work is all done on phone and laptop.

I just can't justify losing precious sleep to wake up, shower, drop off, work, work out, dinner, shower, bed.  Not that throwing on a pair of jeans would require all that.  I'm just lazy.  :)

I don't want to be on MSNBC, yo.
  • Ahh yes, I see what you mean Irish.

  • I admit, I wear them. Usually just to run errands or workout. But I played sports all my life and practically lived in sweats then, so its just a part of my style now. lol

Love them, have a few pairs. But I can't show that much in public. And I like my aass

  • Haha!

I mean I can see how they can grab the front side a little too much but just pull them down, give your lady bits some room and go out in public! I promise no one will notice. you probably look very lovely in them ;)

  • I do from time to time. Like yesterday. C had shots, then turned out to have a virus, so I was in the pediatrician's office twice. Screaming child all day long who would not let me put her down. I wore new balance slightly fitted black workout pants. Boot cut, flattering. If anyone would have said anything to me yesterday regarding my outfit choice I would have lost my shiz on them. Running on 2 hrs of sleep with baby vomit in my hair...it wasn't pretty. But that's just life with a 6.5 month old.
  • I can't do it.  I feel like a slob or like I'm being judged.
