Re: AW yourself.
After a few years of being pretty much completely sedentary, I have worked out on average 5 - 6 times per week since Thanksgiving.
I've also lost around 18 pounds and gone from this fat face:
poof!
To this skinnier face:
poof!
I still have many more pounds to lose, but I'm proud of what I've accomplished so far!
I have made our breakfasts, lunches and dinners every day for the past 2 weeks.
I joined a local trail running group and the first GTG is this Saturday. I hope I can keep up with this group. I am trying to look for some new friends to hang out with. Not that I am loner but my friends (who I see less and less) are just not like the friends I had.
I have just over a week to running my first half marathon. I am injury-free and thrilled to have made it through the hard part of training. Tapering feels so nice!!!
I eat like a pig because I'm always hungry though and haven't gained any weight. I weigh what I did at my wedding but I can wear pants that I couldn't wear then. My thighs are rocks. It's awesome.
I've run three times a week for the last 11 weeks (except for one week where I ran 2x). That is more than I have run in the last 11 years. I am so proud of myself.
My abs are rocking right now too. My body is getting toned all over, and I love it.
Agreed! You are beautiful!

I track my cardio workouts in terms of minutes (long story, but it works for me & motivates me even when I just have 15 minutes, or when I can put in longer time for a big run). My average monthly minutes in 2011 was 725. My average for 2012 is well over 1200, & in April, I'm at 1400, with a few big workouts still slated.
I'm also running my first half marathon on Mother's Day!

Sparrow - you look fantastic!
Mine - None of my pants fit. Not one pair. After sitting at a plateau of 190lbs for almost a year, I'm down to 175.8 this morning. I'd take a picture, but my droopy drawers are not cute. I'll see if I can get one at the wedding this weekend.
Kudos to the PPs!
My AW is that I've lost 69lbs, am down from a size 24/26 to a 16/18 and yesterday I kicked @ss on Week 5, Day 1 of C25k. I'll see if I can dig up a picture to post of my progress, but I'm not savvy like that.
I'm finally doing cardio-running swimming DVDs elliptical with no back pain. Was a long road back but I'm getting there!!!!!!!!!! Yay
I started running more

I love these!
My AW is that I beat my last Cindy score at CrossFit on Tuesday. Last time I did it, I wasn't pregnant and got 14 rounds. This time, I'm 19 weeks pregnant, and got 16 rounds and change. Go me!

Dudettes,
My six-pack is returning.
Also, I have survived the past week of H&F bs and fire and brimstone with grace and aplomb.
I started NROLFW last night! For the past two years, I was working out in small group classes and when that place (sadly) closed DH and I joined a "health club" together. Even with my prior training I found the weight room scary and my first attempt at NROLFW (in January) found me home crying.
I finally convinced myself of no more excuses and sucked it up last night. No one laughed at me, no one threw me out of the weight room and I didn't drop any of the weights on my toes! I think I even impressed one of the trainers who I asked to help me setup the seated cable row station.
One workout down and a bunch more to go...
Props to all on here who even from afar are a major source of my motivation.
This!
Congrats to everyone else too, I love reading this thread.
My AW is that I finally set a new PR for the half marathon, after 2 and a half years of trying. That felt really good
ETA: Oh, I just thought of another, sorry! Yesterday at my gym I was asked if I wanted to ever be a sub for teaching the bootcamp class! I'm totally flattered, it's the hardest class that my gym offers, and for them to think I'm in good enough shape to lead it makes me really happy. I'm not sure if I'm going to do it yet, but it did make me happy that they even thought of me!
I've only missed a few of my Monday through Friday morning workouts this year, and I can do all the reps and moves in boot camp class now.
I've lost about 13 lbs and more than 7 inches of fat since New Year's.
I LOVE this post. So inspirational.
My AW is that I shed nearly 7 minutes off my 5K time within about a month: from 32:38 to 25:58. Running has always been my weakness, but it is becoming such a spiritual thing for me & for the first time in my life I don't dread my running workouts.
2012 Races: 3/18 Shamrock Shuffle 5k; 4/14 E.R. Race for Autism 5k (PR! 25:58); 6/9 Riudoso Sprint Triathlon; 6/24 Chunky Monkey 10K; 7/29 Cochiti Lake Olympic Triathlon; 9/16 Chips & Salsa 1/2 Marathon; 10/21 Duke City 1/2 Marathon; 12/2 Rock & Roll 1/2 Marathon in Vegas!
This thread is awesome - way to go everyone!
Mine is that my CrossFit box has been doing a Whole Life Challenge (like a paleo Whole30 Challenge, but 8 weeks instead of 4) since March 31, and I have a perfect score 4 weeks into the challenge - I am pretty darn proud of myself for sticking to the nutrition and workout plan. I haven't seen much drop in the scale - about 5 pounds - but I can very comfortably get into my size 4 pants again, and I can just see how much slimmer I am in the mirror (plus I feel fantastic). We have 4 more weeks and I intend on rocking them even harder than the first 4!
Our two girls - Chenoa and Maddie
SG, you look fab!
My AW? Ummm...I finally got off my butt and ordered a Forerunner 110 today. About damn time, considering my 305 has been AWOL since Thanksgiving and I'm pacing a quarter marathon (don't even get me started on the term "quarter marathon"...just make it a 10k and be done with it!) next Saturday. Oops.
Thanks guys! It is such slow going I have to AW my small amounts of progress
I AW too much already.
Great work, everyone!
Yes,I'm smiling...I'm a marathoner!
