Re: AW yourself.
I am about to run a 1/2 marathon at 16 weeks pregnant -exactly one year from running my first 5k.
this astounds me since I was moribidly obese just 2 years ago.
I've lost 111lbs - going from a size 26/28 to a 14/16 in a little over a year. I can definitely feel the difference.
When we first bought our house May of last year, I could barely get through mowing one small patch of our 1+ acre (super hilly) lawn without feeling like I was going to die. Yesterday I did it all and still felt like I could function for the rest of the evening! I love seeing those little differences in my fitness
Awesome job guys!! Love this
AW: It was a short run this morning but I felt AWESOME and was keeping under a 12 min mile, which is an improvement from my 13-14 min! Slow but still improvement

I LOVE my forerunner! I have had it for about a year, but just recently started using it on a regular basis. I don't know how I used to run without it.
And again, thank you all! I love seeing everyone's accomplishments in this post. I'm hoping to become a more regular poster - this seems like a great board :-)
I love all these. You ladies rock!
Mine is a confession/AW. I love lifting my shirt and checking out my abs the last week or so. The lack of stretch marks is genetics, but the muscle definition is my hard work paying off. I'm going to rock my bikini this Summer
2012 Goal: working towards pre-pregnancy speed!
04/15 KI Metric Marathon/16.3 m (2:05:55, 7:43 pace)

11/04 NYCM
In the three weeks since being cleared for exercise post-C-section, I've missed only three days at the gym. Not too shabby with two small kids and a full class load (and no sleep).
Also, I destroyed my workout today
.
I'm a little late to this party, but WTH.
I've lost 29 pounds since January (not a resolutioner, just started eating better then). I've still got maybe 40-ish to go, but I'm feeling really good about myself and I'm thinner than I've been ever since we moved here to CA.
Andplusalso, C25K was not for me, so I've just been doing my own running thing in the evenings and ... I've finally managed 15 minutes running without stopping and without feeling like I'm going to die. This is a HUGE acheivement for me. I'm not a runner and never will be, but I'm digging making strides towards better cardio fitness anyhow.

I know it's been said, but Sparrow, you look fantastic!!!
As for me, I've been lazy with my half training, but forced myself to do 6 miles on the treadmill the other night. By the end, I felt as if I could have gone much longer and/or faster. It's nice to feel that I may actually be ready for this half and am looking forward to my 8m run on Saturday!
Wow, congrats everyone! Great accomplishments!
I have two. 1) I signed up with a charity team to run the NYC marathon!! It'll be my first one. I'm super excited & super nervous already! 2) I did a 12 week training & nutrition boot camp-like thing at my gym a year & a half ago & lost about 15lbs. I have been going to classes there since then to maintain and they asked me to be in an ad for the gym. I had photos taken a couple of weeks ago and should be getting the proofs back any day now. I'll post one when I get 'em.
Here is me at my heaviest:
Here is me two weeks ago. Down about 30 pounds, but have also gained a lot of muscle from running and crossfit!
I guess my photo below is an AW.
I also hit 240 on my deadlift and 105 (>this close< to 110) on my snatch.
High fives all!
I... no. I tried, and can't come up with anything to AW at all right now which is disheartening. I DNS'ed the last two races I entered because of a stress fracture. The best I can do is that I'm still trying.
After yoga today, DH and I did a 10 mile bike ride just for fun. A few years ago, I thought I was going to die at 2 miles. Today, I didn't even break a sweat at 10 miles.
It's nice when you get those occasional, measurable glimpses of your progress.
I'm with you. I do feel more motivated and inspired to do something after reading this post, but I'm 2 weeks from the end of the semester and school stress trumps working out and eating right every time for me.

Love this post!! So motivating!
I am 5lbs from hitting my goal of 117lbs weight loss. These last 5 are going to be so hard but I know I can do it.
I ran with DH last night. A year ago I ran my first 5K in just under 42 minutes. We ran 3.4 miles last night at 37:20. And I could of kept running. Plus DH is usually ahead of me the entire time but I stayed next to him and that feels great!
This week I did unassisted strict pull-ups while wearing a 10# weight.
I was stoked.
Yesterday I ran 3 miles without stopping! Not only that but I did it in 30 minutes and 44 seconds...sooo close to my 30 minute goal! Last week I FINALLY broke the plateau I have been stuck on isnce December. I have lost 32lbs since last June and I'm 8lbs from my goal weight woohoooooo!!!!!
I'm a lurker, but I have lost 23 pounds since the the end of January. I went from 218 to 195. I've been averaging 4 workouts a week and did a complete overhaul of my diet. I still have a way to go but I am feeling good!
I finished NROLFW a month ago and am going through it again now. Sunday I did 3 full unassisted chinups. I still need a minute break in between each of them, but I think I can meet my goal of 5 consecutive chinups by the end of the year.
Oh, and my glutes look fabulous now. I can't stop staring at my own @ss every time I pass the mirror.
I took my bike out for my first solo road ride today and didn't crash! I still corner like a Granny on her trike-bike but, I did it!
Also, so far I've had 9 workouts planned through today and made 8 of them (I skipped bootcamp this morning but I've run twice, swam twice, biked twice, and gone to bootcamp & pilates once)

Wow! Those that posted photos all look awesome!!!
A friend and I beat up on the boys at tonight's group bike ride.
