I love these threads because they remind me of songs that I love that I forgot about.
Also needs the following category:
Sexiest song: - Clear winner - KD Lang's sexuality. I would watch that woman eat jello for hours.
That's better than me, it reminds of how out of touch with current music I am:) I don't recognize more than half the songs listed.
And I have a hard time answering because I can't narrow songs down. Give me an artist (like my Buffett example), or a genre of music, or a decade to narrow it down to a reasonable number of song to pick from (however, I'd apparently be lost on recorded in the last 10 years).

The first time in a month I've purposefully listened to music was today. Pete Yorn's musicforthemorningafter.
Oh, I thought of another sad song. "Bad Dream" by Keane.
True story: I was at the dentist's office getting a filling listening to my ipod to drown out the drill. And then this song comes on. And I'm stuck with my mouth jammed open and literally crying because that song brings me to tears. And I couldn't like reach down and change the song because what if I accidentally bump the dentist's arm and then she takes my whole tooth out?
