This week's Fat Tuesday post...
Re: This week's Fat Tuesday post...
I might try to put less heat on my hair and get another trim. It's depressing. I haven't dyed my hair since our wedding in 09. I know that jacked them up from my senior year. But this crap is just like dead limp foolery.
Mesh - thanks.
I NEED to make it out there. I am seriously traveling more this year than ever, and sadly, CA isn't a destination. Maybe early 2013?

That would be the awesome. I don't suppose you're in VA? That might be the only non-HI place I visit this year.
KittyKat CONGRATS!!! That's so exciting!
Hello, people, KITTYKAT IS PREGNANT!

Because my pregnancy has been cut short by appx 5 weeks I am in hyper drive to make sure I eat all of the yummy food I can while I still have time. It doesn't help my weight loss has stayed low this whole time so I am all "Bring on the crossaints and the cookies!"
nom
In Fat Tuesday related news, I have not made it to the gym on once since Thursday. Not once. And today is next to impossible, as the free time I do have is not during childcare hours.
I have 19 days to be beach ready. I need to stop overscheduling myself. I'm not even enjoying the things I am doing, because I feel too stretched.

Congrats
Nope. MN.
I need to go visit my dad. He's coming here twice this year. Once for my sister's 30th, and the next for when she has her baby.

Hey, I think being on page 2 is pretty impressive. You know, given that my OP said absolutely NOTHING.
Thanks sweetie! there was a psuedo announcement two weeks ago. i'm seriously considering switching over to my original knot ID so i can have a ticker and things, was waiting to see if new horrid board format allowed me to change my siggy.
wrong. how could you have never been to a DQ? thats crazytalk.
carvel can't be that good, they sell it in grocery stores.
LOVE.
I feel like there needs to be a stuffed crust pizza tumblr.
Also there is a new fried chicken restaurant in my neighborhood. The fried chicken is CRAZY good. I cannot stop thinking about it It is the best fried chicken I have had in my whole life, and I want to eat several pieces of it every single day.
Meshaliu, since I know you will ask - you know that kind of weird Rainbow Donuts on the corner of San Pablo and University, near Lanesplitter? Now it is called Rainbow Donuts and TC's Fried Chicken and Fish. Seriously. And the fried chicken is good. GOOD I tell you.
Also, I may or may not have bought a French crueller for dessert.
vroom vroom goes the rascal.
And this is why I am so scared to straighten my hair. I don't think I have straightened it since 2007. I even go to places that will trim on wet hair and only blow-dry before I get braids. And that hasn't been since 2009.
They also sell delicious and wholesome Nutella in grocery stores.
I just ate a Chipotle burrito and now I want to keel over. Those things are deceptively filling.

<a href="http://www.thenest.com/?utm_source=ticker&utm_medium=HTML&utm_campaign=tickers" title="Home DGAWD, I love fried chicken. I wish there were a fried chicken restaurant in my neighborhood. But it's probably good that there's not.
If I ever decide to change my name, I think it's going to be a tough call between AngryHarpy and vroomvroom.
So, I was at Grocery Outlet (which has all kind of cool stuff)... and they had this:
Now, not only is it a freaking Ice Cream Cake with actual for real Girl Scout Thin Mints in it, it's from Friendly's. I grew up with Friendly's (actually, only a couple miles from their corporate HQ), and they don't exist out here. I haven't had anything Friendly's for years.
But I'm not supposed to be eating dairy. It makes my sinuses worse.
But... but... but.
H wouldn't let me buy it... OK, he would have "let" me, but he talked me out of it. B@stard.
I am the 99%.
You know me so well!
I can't believe that's the place you're talking about! I pass it on the way to work in the morning and it smells like fried donut heaven. I'm always skeptical of the places that sell donuts and something else, even though the pho and donut place by my house has delicious pho. I need to let go of that notition.
Speaking of random deliciousness, there's a little BBQ shack near San Pablo and Dwight next to the car wash called Smoke. OH. EM. GEE. Eat there.
Even after reading this thread????

I know, right? I restarted my weight loss plan today (for the seven billionth time, LOL), but now I'm all, "Mmm, ice cream cake." For once, though, my laziness is a good thing. I think I would have to leave my neighborhood to get an ice cream cake. That seems like too much work.
I just told H I deserve to go to the little ice cream place in our neighborhood tonight despite having lots of ice cream at home because I DESERVE TOPPINGS damn it.
Marie, you've never been to a DQ!!!! They are so good. I only ever get the blizzards but oh wow. They are good.
My parent's new town has an ice cream place that apparently Cheney loves and there is a flavor named after him. My mom is mad bc she loves that flavor apparently but won't order it. (my parents are the only two Democrats in their town I think.)
I dont know why I'm talking so much about ice cream. I just love it so. And honestly its been the best thing about this pregnancy. I never eat ice cream normally bc it doesn't go well with wine or beer, ha, so now that I'm not drinking I'm making up for with ice cream.
I had gelato in Italy and wasn't that impressed. It tastes just like regular ice cream.
:::ducks:::

We honeymooned in Rome. We had wine twice a day. And gelato once a day. Every day. I lost 2 pounds that week.
EUROPEAN DIET FTW!
I dont know if we have a DQ around here either, but there are several on the Eastern Shore apparently.
There are a few sonics in Jersey so you can stop on your way to Bmore in December haha!
