Planned eating/exercise for Thursday

E: 5 mile run, slow, hot and sweaty!!!

post run: iced decaf coffee w/ vanilla creamer

B: oats in skim milk w/ cinnamon, PB & banana

L: a mixture of brown rice, corn, peas, carrots, spinach, little bit of cheddar cheese and a little bit of diced up ham, an apple

S: luna bar at DS's track meet

D: ?  I know I want some sweet potato fries!!  Not sure what to make with them.  Maybe just fries.  Big Smile  DS & DH are having burgers on the grill & seasoned oven fries.

    TRAVELING DOWN TO THE KENTUCKY DERBY TODAY :) 

  • B: Total, Fiber One & Grape Nuts w/ banana in skim milk

    S: Going to a tradeshow mid-morning, so there may be a few samples to try =)

    L: Turkey, cheese & veggies on ww, broccoli w/ hummus, pita chips

    S: Grapes, strawberries, yogurt

    D: Have a work meeting & they are catering in food - last year was bbq - not sure what we're having this year

    E: None - don't have a free moment today!

  • 30 mins elliptical on lunch and hot flow yoga after work 
  • B: ww bagel w/ almond butter; coffee w/ milk and sugar

    L: Leftover ww pasta w/ tomato basil sauce, broccoli, parmesan; nonfat vanilla yogurt

    S: Chewy Kashi bar if needed

    D: Out with friends, we are being indecisive on where.  I'm hoping for Greek food!

    E: None, rest day

    D: ?? I'm in a dinner rut lately!

    WO: 30 min elliptical and stretching ... it feels so strange to do such light workouts but I'm trusting my taper and hoping that everything comes together on Sunday!

  • E: a disastrous 1.5 mi run in which my quad blew up, and some salvaged upper body lifting with an ice bag strapped to my leg :p

    D: going out, with options: salad and wine flight at a local restaurant, or soup and a grilled chicken sandwich with a beer tasting event at a local pub. Decisions, decisions!

    E: kickboxing with the instructer from heck (he's fighting his first pro MMA fight this weekend and tends to forget the rest of us are just there for fun)

    L: Amy's organic pocket thingies (think it's cheese pizza), Atlanta Fresh 0% Caramel Greek yogurt (heaven!), strawberries.

    E: 25-28 mile hilly hard bike ride

  • E: C25K W8D2 - finally was able to run the 30 min nonstop!

    D: MH is cooking some latin dish with chicken gizzards Tongue Tied, I'll probably try it but mostly eat around them

  • B:(breakfast day at work....alot of naughty, not clean eating food) creme brulee french toast (maybe 1/8 c. worth), hash browns (maybe 1/2 c. worth) fruit salad, bacon

    S1: pumpkin seeds

    L: canned tuna w/ avocado (instead of mayo, highly recommend), cucumbers, rice crackers

    S2: not sure, either sunflower seed buttered toast w/ apple or nonfat cottage cheese w/ strawberries and sliced almonds

    D: ugh. fail on clean eating challenge for meal planning.

    Ex: Going to the gym - I'll decide when I get there what I'll do.

    S: nature valley bar

    L: peanut butter and jelly on whole wheat bread, 1/2 serving of greek yogurt with blueberries, and a little bit of leftover pasta

    S: herbal peach tea, apple, protein drink.. then an iced coffee after work on my starbucks date with my hubby.

    E: rest day!

    D: grilled shrimp and vegetables on whole wheat tortillas with black beans and corn

    S: strawberries
