Ann Romney's $990 shirt. Ugly? Poll
Re: Ann Romney's $990 shirt. Ugly? Poll
Ugly comes in all price ranges.
Michele has worn her share of ugly as well as some stunning outfits.
Overall I like Ann Romney's style, but this is definitely ugly.
my read shelf:
I chose SS. I happen to be a huge bird lover, so I actually think it's kinda cool. However, it is quite bold and over-the-top for my taste. And like sparrow said, you could probably find something like that for a helluva lot cheaper.
THIS.
Plus, you can bet if she'd worn a shirt from Target or Penney's, she'd be seen as trying to pretend she's not rich.
I'm just glad to see that the next first lady is going to make choices that are outside of the box, just like the current first lady.

I truly think she's damned if she does, damned if she doesn't. But then again, there's probably a happy medium between a Target shirt and a $990 shirt.
It's definitely true that if she had worn an Old Navy shirt, people would be ridiculing her for trying to pretend she's not rich.
But it does seem awfully ridiculous to wear a $990 shirt while saying "I'm just like everyone else!" You're not. You're incredibly rich. You don't have any clue what it's like to *not* be able to afford $990 shirts.
