some, yes, some, no.
i am hoping to get a tummy tuck in a few years - and i think i have very good self esteem. I just have a very disgusting stomach thanks to my twins.... that no amount of diet/exercise can fix (the thinner i get the grosser it looks).
a friend of mine got a boob job b/c nursing her sons made her boobs flat and gross - and I didn't blame her for wanting to do that... but she has low self esteem b/c now all she does is post pictures of her and her bigtitty friends in bikinis on FB fishing for compliments from meathead guys. Sooo... the plastic surgery isn't her symptom of low self esteem - but the rest is.
