Tomorrow starts another 6 week challenge at bootcamp, so back to bland, boring diet. I'll be eating clean and cutting back on wine drastically.
Of course, our NOLA trip falls right in the middle, but I'm going to do my best.
Anyone else working out? I know I've got some of you on MFP, which I'll be on religiously....Queenjane1023 if anyone wants to add me

I'm not doing any big races again until September, when I do my next half. But I did join a running group, so I'm hoping to run with them at least once a week, then in July I'll start upping my mileage again.
Still working on the eating better....
I'm going to try to start eating a little bit better & do some more walking, swimming & biking. I'm going to Key West in a month, so that's my motivation.
I admire your ability to cut back on wine. Me, not so much.

TTGP Blog - A Good Read!
Only time will tell, after all, this is only Day 1.
DO IT DO IT DO IT.
Idk, I just got sick of feeling like a blob and having my belly hang out over my jeans. I got so mad at myself for being where I wanted to last October and then letting myself go again. I could smack myself, seriously, so stupid.
Also, everyone at work seems to be on this healthy kick or losing weight so I figured it was time to pony up again.
I remember hearing that running 1 mile is equal to biking 3, but I feel the main difference is running involves way more pounding on your joints etc and no gliding at all
Have you tried yoga? I had been a runner for years, but stopped after college about 4 years ago (no longer had a coach to get on me about races or practicing etc) so needless to say I was slightly out of running shape, but I trained and ran my first 1/2 marathon this summer, doing yoga 3 or 4 times a week for around 30 minutes and running with a little biking in there too. I thought the yoga really helped me control my breathing since that's a big focus, plus it helps with your muscle strength too, and helps stretch out sore muscles. Check out http://www.doyogawithme.com/yoga_classes for some free yoga videos!
You can do it! (this part is for me too, since now that the half marathon has passed I have been slacking as well...)

My bday is next Tues!!! Happy early bday!!!!
Good luck ZO, you can do it!
I'm running, but that is nothing new as I am usually running
I just started a new blog, www.capeislandrunners.wordpress.com, if anyone is interested in reading running related posts
Apologies that this was also just posted on TK yesterday. Dee let me know most of you had migrated, so figured I would out put it on here too!
Thanks! Happy early bday to you too!!!
That's awseome! Guys always lose weight so much faster! I started MFP in January and have lost just over 15 pounds. DH, however, saw how motivated I was, and we joined a gym. He's lost over 25 pounds! He's definently not as serious as I am, and it kills me that he's lost over 10 more pounds than me!
TTC since June 2012
My motivation was that I have never been this heavy in my life! And that fact that my mom was telling me that when I get pregnant, I'll gain weight. (Which obviously I knew) But when she said "when you're pregnant, you could be pushing 180 if you don't lose weight"...reality hit me!
andplusalso... I was sick and tired of looking down and seeing my stomach! I hated the way I looked in pictures. Several pictures on our honeymoon, my stomach is sticking out! LOL. So, it was time to change! DH and I have pictures from the wedding, honeymoon, and cruise around the house, and we're so much bigger in those pictures than we are now. You can totally see it in my face, arms, and stomach.
My motivation now, is that I love seeing the results I've seen, and I don't want to go back!
TTC since June 2012
Happy Early Birthday to both of you!!
