Re: (@)
omgzzz, you caught the (@)!
Congrats, dude
yay! thanks! I still can't quite believe it. I keep going back to look at my test to see the other line. Now I know why everyone takes a pic of it - its your only evidence that its actually true! I bought a digital to take tomorrow - is it really even needed or is it just to make you feel better so you can see the "pregnant" sign? lol.
Now I gotta figure out when to tell the parents. I can't decide whether it would be better to wait until I see them at christmas (i'll be a couple days short of 8 weeks) or, wait until like 5 or 6 weeks. Its totally selfish of me - maybe they'll get me some cute baby crap? I dunno. ideas?
Congrats!
Darn this board is spitting out babies!!!
That's so great!! Congrats!!!
A digital test isn't needed. A line is as positive as it gets. But, take the digital if it makes you feel better
If your parents are the type to get excited (you;re about to see how selfish I can be, lol), they're going to buy you baby stuff anyway. If it were me, I'd wait till I were a little further along (maybe at Christmas, or even not till New Years), since this is the last time you're relevant to get presents
(j/k... you're still relevant. Sort of.)
lol - I guess I have the opposite problem - cause I hate giving Christmas ideas and it would be nice to have some, er, monetary help - even if its just a pg book or something. I dunno - its so on the cusp. Then on the other hand I feel like punishing my parents some what because they kept asking if there was "any news" and it was so annoying, lol.
Yay congrats!!!
The digital test technically isn't necessary (the lines are perfectly accurate) but I don't know anyone who didn't run out and get it just to see in plain black and white "PREGNANT."
Yay!!!!
Congrats to you!!!
I am the 99%.
I agree with Brookles. ?Of course it depends on your relationship with your folks, but we waited until I was about 10 weeks along to tell our parents and I am glad we did. ?Having that "secret" with your H really is pretty cool.?
Congratulations!
I am so not drinking the water around here. Or at my office. Everyone around me is pregnant!
that's great for you guys, and i think christmas is an awesome time to tell parents. plus, you can get them a 'grandma/grandpa' picture frame and call it good, lol.
big fat ditto. it's viral mang.
my thoughts exactly - congrats sugrfrejaz!!
Major ditto. Forget water, stick to the booze.?

Woohoo, sugr! Congratulations!!!
And I'll take one of those, Katie... I'm staying far, far away from the water around here.
Same here! Seriously, every other day, someone tells me they caught the (@)!
Congratulations, sugr! Such exciting news! I agree with Brookles -- such a fun time for you and DH.
thanks everyone! Its still very weird and new to me. I only have that lil test to prove to me that I didn't just imagine the whole thing. oh and my siggy
Congratulations!!!
And I'd wait to tell them in person. It's just more fun to do it in person. Plus, there's the whole punishing them thing as an added bonus. ;-)
Congratulations!
so, do you think your family will get "I has it," as a method of delivering the news? Because it was classic
