Well since I posted about being nervous to make an offer on Thursday, we have felt a lot better about it and actually were able to make a bigger down payment, which really made us feel better. So we put an offer in yesterday afternoon and gave a deadline of noon today.
It's 10 AM and we haven't heard anything. Is this normal? I absolutely HATE waiting for anything and am a very impatient person. The waiting is absolutely killing me. Now we know 100% we are ready and comfortable to buy this house and are so excited, but I'm nervous about the offer getting accepted. We would even be fine with a counteroffer and negotiating, but it worries me that we haven't heard anything. They still have two hours left, but is it normal for the seller to wait right up to the deadline to make a decision?
