I drink a lot and was expecting to deal with this a million times. I ended up surprising myself.

I wasn't going to deal with that crap, I didn't go until we were back at the hotel that night. But I also waited until the last possible minute to put my dress on and went right before that.

I voted 2... but in my actual big dress only 1 time right before the ceremony. THe second time was in my moms dress when I changed... so I wasnt sure if that counted.

0! I don't know how I did it, I normally have to pee twice an hour, but I didn't have to go all night. I was in my dress from from about 4:15-11:15pm.

I only went once. I was majorly dehydrated the next day (not due to alcohol--I only had 3 drinks!), though, because I must not have had enough water at all.

same here!! I was surprised I didn't have to go because I was drinking water to stay hydrated and wine at the reception but I didn't go from about 1:30-8:30. My MOH kept asking me if I had to go but I never did.

0! I have no idea how I lasted so long (12:00pm-11:30pm). I think I was just so excited and caught up in the day that I never noticed if I did have to go. I should also thank my Dad for all the years we traveled to MN (12hrs from OH) and only stopped twice the whole trip...must have trained myself to hold it or I just have a large bladder.

I was drinking wine and if I pee once after I start drinking, I've broken the seal and have to pee lots. The first time, BIL's fiancee came and helped me, and then after that, I had figured out how to control my own dress!

I kept really well hydrated in the morning so that I would get it all out early, but not be dying of dehydration later in the day. It worked out really well, I only had to go once and even that wasn't nearly as big of an ordeal as I was afraid it would be, until I somehow caught up the entire petticoat in my underwear when I pulled it back up. Yeah, that was obnoxious.

I voted 1 but I just remembered that it was 2. The first was right before the ceremony. I was nervous and my bladder tends to want to stay as empty as possible when I'm nervous. The second was during dancing, because I had polished off half a bottle of champagne, two glasses of wine, and some water. Luckily, my dress was not very foofy so I managed to go by myself.

I put 2. I was pushing the fluids hard after my photographer told me about a bride the previous weekend who passed out from dehydration and missed her whole wedding. It was hot. That being said, 2 was not much for all the water I drank! Once was somewhere in the middle of the reception and then once at the end before we got on the shuttle. My mom helped both times.

I thought I had to pee at one point so I dragged my MsOH into the bathroom with me and then I couldn't/didn't have to go. We laughed.

Reth I'm glad someone used catheters. I would have but they were out of our budget and no one used diapers?! Ugh!

They weren't really within our budget either. So we took a little money out of our "favor" budget for the guests so that I could have a catheter. It was a non-negotiable decision to me and I do not regret it one bit.

Haha, I needed this laugh right now. And, if I had kept reading I would have chosen catheter or diapers, just so they'd have votes, too! :-)

But for me it was one, and it was at the tail end of the night. But, my dress wasn't a big wedding dress, either, so it wouldn't have mattered. I was surprised, because I'm one of those twice an hour pee-ers.

I went 3 times. The first time I still had my shoes on, and kept getting my undies stuck in my heel, so my MOH had to put my sweaty undies back on. I felt so sorry for her. Straddling the toilet to pee was the best random advice I ever read. It was super easy. The other times I didn't have my heels on, so I could get my undies by my self. :P

I peed 3 times. I pee a lot everyday so I expected it. But I am so thankful that someone posted on TK a while back how to pee in your dress (by facing the toilet) because that made it really easy.
