Re: Tuesday Randoms
My appetite has been very small recently. Nothing sounds good and what does sound good isn't good for me or I'm not able to make at the moment. I'm trying to back of dairy and pasta which only makes me crave those items more. Last night I had about 4 bites of a pulled pork sandwich and an ear of corn. for lunch today I had to force myself to eat half of DH's sandwich from the Schintz.
I'm kind of bored right now. No much left to pack and what there is I have to wait for DH to say yay or nay to and that won't be until the weekend. My parents house looks like it's going to explode because its do full.

DH and I were talking last night and his father came up in the coversation and at the end of the conversation DH decided that his Father will now be referred to as "He who shall not be named". So of course in true HP fashion I said Voldemort three times. DH gave me the evil eye.
So Deeder- how long will you be staying with your parents you think?
My appetite has been odd lately too. I just went to the store to get stuff to fix dinner. I'm trying a new chicken recipe- honey spice chicken. We'll see how that goes. It sounded good at least. Going to have rice and sauteed veggies on the side.
Good for you for going through your name picking process TW. I often shake my head at how some of these names sound/look. My name's ok, but I don't like how it sounds after Grandma lol. Might have to pick a nickname.
My mom has been saying for years that she doesn't want to be called Grandma. She likes "Granna" I think it's cute. So I hope my future nuggets comply.

BnG: Honestly I don't know. It would be great if it was for a few months but it will most likely be for at least a year. We haven't set a time table. Once we get settle in at my parents we might have better idea. This last year with our house has just totally exhausted us.
LOL, you don't even have kids yet and you don't like how your names sounds with Grandma in front of it. Maybe these grandkids can call you GG.

Yes TW, I agree. Tell your mom she needs something more hip. She is entirely too young for Granny.
Ha Deeder. I know. What can I say. I skipped a generation. And I hear you about the living situation. Our goal was to get a house around April next year but if I don't get a job soon, that ship will sail.
We won't stay here. The couple next door fights LOUDLY every other day. Not cool. Next time, we will call the police. I feel horrible hearing that.
I remember load neighbors from our apartment days. We had one neighbor that decided to rock out at 6AM Thanksgiving morning. Yeah cause that was cool.
Are you going to try and stay in the same general area that your in right now or try out a different part of town?

Thank you for showing me a curtain rod that mounts to the ceiling. It's just what I'm looking for. However I can not thank you for letting me purchase it as you don't make it available to buy.
Our original thought was to move north of downtown GR because B's job is in the Plainfield area and we all know how lovely 131 can be when there isn't construction. He's been taking 196 lately, but that can be a pain too. Wyoming and Grandville have good schools, so we will see.
We are also toying with building our own home. He LOVES that option since he can be the project manager and one of his co workers did the same thing a few years ago.
Wow! We've done good today as far as posting. Wonder if we can keep it up tomorrow?
Since I no longer have a house of my own I'm now gathering a nice collection of homes plans that I like.
I'm thinking about grilling some chicken tonight and adding some broccoli on the side. Maybe I'll stop and pick up some garlic rolls too.
Hi ladies! Sorry to interupt the Deeder, BnG, and TW show.
I try to get on here at least a few times a week but just don't always post. Hannah has me too busy these days. She is into everything! Normally if I start to type something I have to walk away and get her out of whatever trouble she is getting into and then I forget to come back.
I walked away from the computer while reading this to stir something on the stove and she was standing on my chair when I came back. Ahhh!!
I will have to look at the pro boards link - I had heard talk about them on here before but I have no idea what they are.
