Any Nannies or In-Home Babysitters?

Hi everyone! I'm actually trying to help out a friend and was wondering if any of you know (or are) a trusted nanny or in-home babysitter. My friend is looking for someone part-time and lives in the Sanford area. She wouldn't need someone until March/April. Any help/recommendations/or HELL NOs are appreciated. Thank you for your help

Craigslist always has tons of people looking for work like this. If she is looking to hire a stranger, get some references first. A background check is also an option. Inviting them over for a "get to know you" dinner or interview is a good idea.

indeed.com has tons of people looking for work at nannies. I know there's a careerbuilder.com type of site just for nannies, but can't remember it. I was looking into doing it when I was in between jobs

Try asking on the Bump local board. Care.com is site she might have better luck with. I'd be wary of CL ad's when it comes to childcare.

Sittercity.com and Care.com have lots of sitters who have background checks and profiles with a picture. Also they're references are there if they've provided them for families to check.
