Holla. You know I'd be all over a book club!
I always thought a book to movie book club would be fun because then you could have GTGs to go see the movie and to discuss the comparisons but that might be a bit much for people to sign on for.
I suggest anyone that's interested should create a goodreads account. It would be easiest to organize a club though them and we'd be able to see what everyone has already read.
I'm embarrassed for you to know what I've read! it kills me to admit that I was reading 50 shades when I started seeing spots and had to go to the hospital for pre-eclampsia. That horrible book is forever a part of my son's history haha I may start lying and saying I was reading war and peace or something.
The link to my goodreads account is in my siggy. You'll find all three Fifty books there along with a couple other trashy books, a good bit of YA and a few cheesy romances. I see no shame in what people choose to read. Full disclosure, I also read tabloid magazines and follow gossip blogs.

NQ - How did you add the icons for Pinterest / Good Reads to your siggy? I already have Pinterest, and just signed up for Good Reads.

For Pinterest:
From a computer and logged into your account, click "About" tab in the top right corner. In left hand menu is a "Goodies" link. There are four different Follow Button to pick from. Click on the one you like and a code will appear to the right of it. C& P that code into your signature.
For Goodreads:
While logged in, click on "Edit Profile" (down arrow to the right of your picture in the top right corner). Select Widgets tab. There are a bunch of different options to pick from. The one I use is the Goodreads Shelf Badge. C&P the code into your signature.

I demand you read Insurgent! The third book is coming out in the fall. They are casting the Divergent movie. It will be mayhem!
I'm #6 right now on the overdrive waiting list for Divergent!
I love these books! When the 3rd comes out, I'll probably end up buying the series.

I know, believe me I'm on the list on overdrive for Insurgent. I loved Divergent! I'm number 12 on the waitlist...so hopefully soon!
I vote the first book be 50 Shades of Gray (just kidding!)
I am open to anything, although I have never read 50 Shades, Divergent or a Nora Roberts book for that matter.
The main benefit to having the group on goodreads is that we'll have one place to keep track of all of the books we've currently read. The nest is not known for it's great search function so it's nice to have one place to go to find what we've already read.
I know you can sync your reading lists with other members but I don't believe that can be done as a group-though I've never actually had an occasion to look into if it could be done or not so I'll check.
