I've read so much about TJ that when I finally got a chance to go to one, I did.
I was disappointed. THe first area was the produce and their prices were much higher than my local market. DH and I wandered the store and ended up just buying the chili lime chicken burgers...only because I read so many things about them. We will see!!

I've found that their produce prices are average, when things are in season more, they do get better.The thing I like about trader joes is that you can find more things that not necessarily organic but don't have all the extra additives & chemicals

Yea, I never buy produce from TJ's either - too expensive. What I do buy from them though is the fancy cheeses....they have such a nice wide variety and good prices...especially the goat cheese and brie with truffle mushrooms. mmmmmm
