Getting things ready/done...
Moms-
What did you wish you had done before you had your baby? I'm trying to get on top of organizing things around the house, but never seem to be on top of it. I'm starting to feel overwhelmed. Even though I am home and can get things done, it takes a lot of energy that I don't have. What were your 'must have done' things before you went into labor? What do you regret not having done?

i had next to nothing done. it was my plan for the weeks leading up to birth when he showed up early. and i learned that almost all of the things i would have done didn't matter anyways.
things that did matter:
having bottles/nipples/paci's
I wish I had given our closets and cabinets a good clean out. I feel like we have a lot of junk thrown into boxes and bags in storage and I just want more space to breathe. haha
I wish we'd gone out on more little dates for dinner or a movie.&nbs

I'm having this baby sometime between now and April 20th and these are some big things that are done:
1.Hospital bags are packed
2. Car seat base is installed
3. All newborn clothes are washed and tags are removed
4. All sheets
The bills thing is definitely a good tip. I handle all the bills and I had it all set up ( checks written, envelopes stamped, online payments set up) ahead of time and I am glad I did because I know I wouldn't have been able to keep track.

I wish we hadn't moved into a new house when I was 30 weeks along LOL. Nursery still isn't done and the babies are seven months old now. I am an interior designer, so that
