We first cleared out the nursery and started working on the trim work over a month ago. We finally finished the trim, crown moulding and all the paint this weekend.
Next up: installing the small chandelier and start sewing the drapery panels!
And yes... we are having a girl and our nursery is still blue. I just love the color!
Our nursery inspiration:

Our nursery with the paint finished (nothing else done yet!)

Re: Nursery is painted!
Here are the fabrics I'm using. The striped fabric will be used for the drapes, the blue polka dot for the bumper and the brown polka dot for the crib skirt. I'm so excited about it!
Here is the chandelier we ordered.
Cute! I hope to have mine painted in January sometime.
I love the Chandelier. Where did you find it? I am trying to find a purple/lavendar one without breaking the bank
Thanks everyone!
Nicole.. I got the chandelier from Pottery Barn Kids. We had a couple of giftcards left over from our wedding a couple of years ago that we never used. If you are looking for a chandelier in a specific color, maybe look on ebay?
Thanks!! Oh I LOVE PBK. I will check out Ebay.
lydia, i LOVE that color! what color is it if you don't mind my asking?
i like that you're stepping out of the box. pink's not for all girls
Lauren.. the color is called "Stillness" by Glidden at Home Depot. It looks a lot more Tiffany-blue in the photos than what it is in person.
My DH said the white and blue reminds him of a 1950-something Chevy.
