GTKY: What do you do for work?

edited October 2013 in Getting Pregnant

The OOTD post got me thinking, what do you do for work?

It's probably been discussed before I became active again, but humour me.

I work in the Canadian sport system on the 2015 Pan and Parapan American Games project that will be hosted in Toronto.  It's a desk job and sounds more interesting than it is.  I am also doing my Masters in Rehabilitative Science part-time.

And go!

  • I'm an Employment & Recruitment Administrator for the long term care division of a healthcare company.  Basically, I recruit for positions in the home office and help the affiliates all over the state with their recruiting strategies.  Most of their recruitment process is antiquated (they still waste their money advertising in the local newspaper instead of online) so I'm just trying to bring them into this century!

Yes it is. I've been here 5 1/2 years. It's very draining. I have tenants that think I am the best person in the world and others who swear I'm out to get them. In reality, I don't treat any one tenant different then the next. They just think I do. It just kills me when I have one phone call telling me how grateful they are that I manage their property and the next tells me I'm a horrible person with no heart. You were smart to get out of this profession!
