What's going on for the weekend?
my read shelf:
Re: Happy Friday!!
Tonight - meeting with our pastor for a 1 anniversary thing. He's cancelled on us twice, kind of hope he does it again. I just want to go to the gym then pass out.
Saturday - cleaning, laundry etc.... then nestie dinner with the girls from my local board!
Sunday - Best Buy to get my new computer fixed. I think it's the wifi card. It doesn't like to stay connected.
Going home to Ohio for the weekend. I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow back home. I'm also excited to spend time with my parents and my best friend. Wish H could come too, but he has to work.
My parents are going to Alabama to visit my brother. That means I'm on farm duty until they get back. So, not much planned other than goats!
I'm getting my hair done on Saturday, cut and highlights! Yay! DH and I plan on doing our 1 year photo on Sunday at our wedding venue, it's an indoor park. I wanted to wait until I could get my hair done, my roots are offensive. lol!
Tonight - leaving work early to get so errands done. I might start painting the living room. I think that I would rather do the laundry and clean our bedroom though.
Tomorrow - headed to NJ for BILs wedding. I am excited for the food, drinks and dancing.
Sunday - After wedding brunch I think and then home to get ready for the week.
@cathyl7910, I wonder if we should do an announcement type post for everyone to post where they are from. Maybe we can one day plan a get together, or if not it might be nice to know where everyone is from. If any of us happen to travel into someone else's area it'd be nice to know to plan drinks, lunch or something.
I wish we could do a big G2G too!!!
Happy birthday @mrsH1027
Tonight we're relaxing. Was supposed to go to the gym, but I got comfy. Tomorrow cleaning and getting a birthday gift for H's cousin and a welcome baby gift for his other cousin who had baby #3 on Wednesday
Tomorrow night we're going to H's sisters' Halloween party. Sunday we're hopefully going to look at a house that H wants to see.

Tomorrow night we're going to H's sisters' Halloween party. Sunday we're hopefully going to look at a house that H wants to see.
The stairs were scary to walk up and the upstairs looked like it was covered with vinyl flooring and they pulled it up. There was adhesive all over the hard wood floors and they were destroyed. They were really pretty wide planks too, I was disappointed someone would do that. The house was listed at a 4 bedroom, but it was really only 2. The other 2 rooms were not big enough for even a twin sized bed and did not have a closet. The 2 bedrooms that had closets could only fit a full sized bed and maybe a dresser. It had a wonderful walk up attic with almost standing height ceilings throughout. You only couldn't stand in about a 2 foot perimeter. The attic was the width of the entire house.
The basement was creepy and had a tree branch that was rotted supporting the house, which explained the terrible floors on the main floor. If we went to see this house at night, I would have gone screaming out of the basement. The house has potential, but H and I could not afford all of the work that this needed to be inhabitable. It seemed like it was an elderly person who neglected the house. Then their kids took it over, tried to flip it and realized they were in over their heads.
This is the second house in this particular town that we looked at. The other house also had crooked floors. I found that to be a funny coincidence.
We got there at like 8:00 at night. It was February, so it was dark. There were no lights on outside. We got inside to find out the house had no electricity. It looked like the people left in the middle of the night. There were pots still on the stove. Furniture in the house was turned upside down. There were no clothes anywhere. We were afraid to walk because the house was in awful condition. Since there was no electricity, we were using cell phone flash lights. I thought someone was going to turn a corner and chase me with a knife or chain saw.
