DH is out of town until Sunday Tonight I might be brewing beer with a friend, tomorrow I'm volunteering at a historical site in Indy, and Sunday I'll clean and make a big pot of chicken tortilla soup for DH to come home to! (Pioneer Woman's recipe is amazingggggggggg)
Woohoo, I'm sooooo glad it's Friday!! Not too much planned this weekend. We are seeing friends tomorrow night for game night and letting them know about the baby. I'm a bit scared because they have been trying for about 3 years to get pregnant. I'm trying to be really sensitive to their situation. I know they will be happy, but it hurts my heart that they are having so much trouble and this might hurt them. Sunday is church and grocery shopping/meal planning for the week.
Tonight - meeting with our pastor for a 1 anniversary thing. He's cancelled on us twice, kind of hope he does it again. I just want to go to the gym then pass out.
Saturday - cleaning, laundry etc.... then nestie dinner with the girls from my local board!
Sunday - Best Buy to get my new computer fixed. I think it's the wifi card. It doesn't like to stay connected.
No work for me today. Today is All Saint's Day and I work at a Catholic school, so the University is closed
Going home to Ohio for the weekend. I have a baby shower to go to tomorrow back home. I'm also excited to spend time with my parents and my best friend. Wish H could come too, but he has to work.

I wish the girls from our board could do this! It sucks that we are so scattered across the map.
My parents are going to Alabama to visit my brother. That means I'm on farm duty until they get back. So, not much planned other than goats!
I'm getting my hair done on Saturday, cut and highlights! Yay! DH and I plan on doing our 1 year photo on Sunday at our wedding venue, it's an indoor park. I wanted to wait until I could get my hair done, my roots are offensive. lol!
Birthday weekend! My birthday is today, so my parents are in town. DH if off today, so they're all hanging. I'm attempting to get all of my work done, so I can leave early! Need to get off TN to accomplish this! LOL!
@mrsh1027 happy birthday
No big plans this weekend, just a birthday party for a 5 yr old tomorrow! It will be nice to get some stuff done around the house and relax with my little boogie!
Tonight - leaving work early to get so errands done. I might start painting the living room. I think that I would rather do the laundry and clean our bedroom though.
Tomorrow - headed to NJ for BILs wedding. I am excited for the food, drinks and dancing.
Sunday - After wedding brunch I think and then home to get ready for the week.
@cathyl7910, I wonder if we should do an announcement type post for everyone to post where they are from. Maybe we can one day plan a get together, or if not it might be nice to know where everyone is from. If any of us happen to travel into someone else's area it'd be nice to know to plan drinks, lunch or something.
Tonight we're relaxing. Was supposed to go to the gym, but I got comfy. Tomorrow cleaning and getting a birthday gift for H's cousin and a welcome baby gift for his other cousin who had baby #3 on Wednesday
Tomorrow night we're going to H's sisters' Halloween party. Sunday we're hopefully going to look at a house that H wants to see.

Happy birthday, @MrsH1027!!! I hope it's wonderful!
My local board has activity maybe once every six months....so definitely a no go there for me. I think we should do the where everyone is from post so we could maybe plan a G2G eventually!! Or at least try and get together if we're nearby one another.
@Siepel12 What part of Alabama? Depending on where, it could be close to me...you could just tag along! haha
@danaocny it was awful! Almost the worst house we've seen! It looked nice in the pictures, but looked like it needed a kitchen. We pulled up and it looked like it needed new paint and wood around the windows. That's something we could deal with. It needed some landscaping and curb appeal, but it had potential. We had to go through the back door and my realtor could barely open the door, which is never a good sign. You entered in the kitchen and the first thing your eye was drawn to was the deep waves in the floor. They continued into the dining room. There were no floor coverings on the first floor, just plywood.
The stairs were scary to walk up and the upstairs looked like it was covered with vinyl flooring and they pulled it up. There was adhesive all over the hard wood floors and they were destroyed. They were really pretty wide planks too, I was disappointed someone would do that. The house was listed at a 4 bedroom, but it was really only 2. The other 2 rooms were not big enough for even a twin sized bed and did not have a closet. The 2 bedrooms that had closets could only fit a full sized bed and maybe a dresser. It had a wonderful walk up attic with almost standing height ceilings throughout. You only couldn't stand in about a 2 foot perimeter. The attic was the width of the entire house.
The basement was creepy and had a tree branch that was rotted supporting the house, which explained the terrible floors on the main floor. If we went to see this house at night, I would have gone screaming out of the basement. The house has potential, but H and I could not afford all of the work that this needed to be inhabitable. It seemed like it was an elderly person who neglected the house. Then their kids took it over, tried to flip it and realized they were in over their heads.
This is the second house in this particular town that we looked at. The other house also had crooked floors. I found that to be a funny coincidence.
Thanks @danaocny and @xxjen015! We've seen some bad houses, but this was awful! The only one worse was with our first realtor. She kept sending us this house and we just weren't interested in it. She wanted to see it because it was around the corner from her house.
We got there at like 8:00 at night. It was February, so it was dark. There were no lights on outside. We got inside to find out the house had no electricity. It looked like the people left in the middle of the night. There were pots still on the stove. Furniture in the house was turned upside down. There were no clothes anywhere. We were afraid to walk because the house was in awful condition. Since there was no electricity, we were using cell phone flash lights. I thought someone was going to turn a corner and chase me with a knife or chain saw.
