    Speaking of food, Dunkin Donuts has this new cookie dough donut for Valentine's Day and I'm SO intrigued and tempted to buy one.  HOWEVER, DD's donuts aren't that great, so I know I'll just end up with a brick in my stomach and full of regret.
    But if regret tastes like cookie dough, that kind of takes the sting out of it, yes?
    True, if it were a better donut place than DD.

    They stare me in the face every morning.  I agree though, it won't be worth it.  Unless it's a glazed donut, the rest kind of taste like cardboard.

    I have never met a donut that I did not love.  I don't care if it is 10 days old and has been sat on, I will still eat it and love it.
    Then you definitely need to go to Universal Studios. They have donuts the size of your head!

  • Donuts are one of the few junks foods I can resist pretty easily, because they always make me feel like shit after eating them.  I can eat a lot of crap, but somehow donuts just never seem to agree with me.  And a cookie-dough filled donut???  VOMIT.  I will just eat some plain old cookie dough, instead.

  • Add me to the list that doesn't like DD.  I don't like their coffee or donuts or bagels, or sad attempts at all that other food (maybe it's not fair to say I dislike all of that other food, because I've never tried any of it, but it all looks so yucky).  I do, however, enjoy their jelly munchkins.  They have just the right ratio of jelly to donut, unlike a full-size jelly donut, which is disgusting.
  • @booneybear what about a donut burger?

    @nocturnalintimacy

    I get where you are coming from - I, too, have a very low tolerance for hypocrisy.

  • I am tempted to say I can't go to a meeting next week.  I already signed up for a yoga class at that time.  And I don't want to go - this will be the 4th meeting about the. same. thing.  I've given my feedback already.
  • Now I have to go to the Fresh Market and get this.

  • I got a promotion at work!! I don't start my new title until mid-march but I'm pretty excited. I'll also have an office! <:-P My kids have given me barely any opportunity to sleep this week. DH acts surprised that I'm a little snappish and yelly. He tried helping get the baby down last night but she did nothing but cry until I took care of it. I am beyond acknowledging feeling tired; I just don't have brain capacity to function well at this point.
    Congrats on the promotion!
    Sorry about the girls not sleeping or letting you get any sleep though. I'm like my own evil twin on days like that. Hugs.

    I don't know.  I'm a huge sweets person, but I'm not sure I'd want my burger to have any sweetness to it.
