@nocturnalintimacy- The one thing I've always noticed when someone dies is that people will either try and pass off the deceased as their best friend (even if they only had one conversation) or that the deceased was truly and amazing person and it's a terrible loss (especially when they die so young).

That is the plan. Just got back from the dr. Alex was suposed to get his flu shot this morning but they took one look at me and said no. I have been told its a virus turning into a sinus infection. I am not to do a thing for the next 5 days.

About 6 weeks. I have a lot more to lose. The first ten lbs always seem to come off easily - it's the rest that suck!

I only like Krispy Kreme donuts. When I was pregnant, it was a serious problem because the closest one is like 45 minutes from our house.

I only like yeast donuts like Krispy Kreme.  That's a shame because I can't have donuts like that anymore and gluten free donuts are sad and dense.  This thread is almost making me want to eat a donut in front of the hospital.  Terrible idea.

I worked at a little Mom & Pop bakery way back when and I would eat two glazed donuts (hot off the fryer) every single morning for breakfast.  It was heaven.  Pure heaven.  I miss those breakfasts.

I think the quality has gone downhill since we worked there (I'm assuming it was around the same-ish time).  I used to eat the donuts like crazy when I worked there. I never got sick of them.  Now they're a poor substitute for a donut. That and they don't have nearly the variety they used to.

Yea, I can't tell if the quality has gone downhill or if I just didn't know what a good donut was back then.  I DO think a lot has to do with quality.  A lot of them aren't even made fresh in the store anymore.  I worked there when they still had actual bakers.

I was planning to go to HIIT, yoga, and spinning today. I made it to the first class but skipped the other two.

Also, I have been enjoying honey whiskey with diet ginger ale every day this week, and it has been delightful. 

Regarding donuts, we often have a box of DD donuts on the breakroom table at work, and even though I don't even particularly like donuts, I end up eating one (or more) during the workday. Why, yes, I am a compulsive eater.

I can't find them everywhere but by far my favorite DD donut is the one that is powdered sugar and filled with chocolate frosting. I'm not a huge donut fan but man, those ones get me every time.

I love the blueberry cake and cherry cake donuts.  Doesn't really matter where they're from.  I usually get one at the grocery store bakery to nosh on while I shop.  I'm always handing the cashier an empty bakery bag and saying 'This used to be 2 donuts.'

Those are the ones. I haven't been able to find them in a few years, not since I lived in our last apartment. The ones around where I live now don't sell them and neither do the ones in Boston near my office.
