Happy Valentine's Day Friday!! What are you reading?
How do you like it so far? Is it for any of the challenges or just fun?
Doing anything special for Valentine's Day?
Friday, December 28 2012. The day I had emergency appendix surgery in Mexico and quit smoking. Proof that everything has a good side!! DH and I are happily child-free!! No due date or toddler tickers here!!

Re: Happy Valentine's Day Friday!! What are you reading?
my read shelf:
I am reading Size 12 and Ready to Rock, A Storm of Swords and The Lightning Thief. So far I am enjoying them all. They are #9 - 11 for the year and just for fun.
We aren't really doing anything special for Valentine's Day. I picked up some chocolates for DH and the kids and we are having some sort of take out for supper which is my present. No cooking! We have family in town this weekend as it's a major winter festival in town right now so we'll be busy enjoying that instead.
A quiet night in planned for tonight.

We don't usually do anything too big for Valentine's Day. Tonight we are ordering pizza and watching Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Tomorrow I'm making us risotto (I hate cooking on Fridays). Sunday we're going out to dinner.
We are going to get take out and probably watch the Olympics.
We aren't doing anything for Valentine's Day because we are broke. We had dinner at my parents' house last night. Tonight will just be dinner and hanging out at home because DH has to work early in the morning.

J is ordering in chinese food for supper. We exchanged cards this morning.
We don't do much for Valentine's Day.
We're still snowbound (10" on a gravel driveway plus vehicles with low profiles (Yaris and Corolla) equals not going anywhere soon), and hoping that the plows come down the road at least. We don't tend to do much if anything for v-day anyhow.
For Valentine's Day, two of our friends are coming over. We are going to have steak, wine, and these delicious layer bars: http://abc.go.com/shows/the-chew/recipes/9-layer-bar-daphne-oz
I just finished Julie Prestsater's Against the Wall. It was a cute romance, all the characters are high school teachers, and it's free on Kindle.
Oh, she drops the f-bomb a lot in general conversation, so if that irritates you than this one's not for you.
Edit: I made the girls Valentine's bags (those felt ones from the Target Dollar Aisle) with a candy bar, some cute socks, stickers and barrettes. Husband got a video game that he apparently already has. He's off exchanging it now. I thought I did so good too! Oh well.
Nothing!

I finished 'Siege and Storm' on Wednesday and I don't know what I want to read next!
ETA: I think DH plans to cook something tonight. I'm very afraid.
my read shelf:
Not sure what we will do. Probably nothing but a movie and a bottle of wine sounds amazing.
