  • Pine. It brings back tons of Christmas memories.

  • Coconut. It makes me think of spending summers on the beach.

There is! But, it unfortunately reminds me of a not so fun memory. :-(

  • Wood smoke reminds me of summer camp. And of course, ocean smell always makes me think of Cape Cod.

  • Leaves in the fall--reminds me of growing up in the woods and how much fun fall was in general.

  • It's a weird one- WD-40 and pipe smoke.  My dad has always gone to this hardware store.  The old owner used to smoke his pipe all day while working and because of the tools, there was a lot of WD-40.  He had to stop smoking in there like 15 years ago, but the smell is still faintly there.  I smile every time I go in there.
  • I have a weird one too! Tomatoes on the vine! When I smell the vine part it reminds me of my dad (who is still alive). He builds a huge garden every year at my parents house and I always used to get tomatoes from him.
  • Lots, but I can't pinpoint the smell. Does that make sense?

I also love library smell, and had my heart set on getting married in the Boston public library (like since I was 15 and didn't even live on the east coast) I thought this was totally unique...

1- then stupid Carrie Bradsaw goes and makes it cool.

2-then I find out they do events there all the time and a wedding for 50 people would cost $40,000.

    So...that didn't happen.

Whenever I go to the hardware store, I think of trips there with my dad when I was little! I love hardware store smell.

  • I can't think of anything specific.  But I'll get random wiffs of stuff that makes me think that reminds me of blank.
  • Lilac reminds me of a place my grandma used to live because the backyard was hedged by lilac bushes.  She used to babysit my brothers and I a lot in the summer and the smell of lilacs still reminds me of her.  She is alive, I just don't see her much anymore.

Our northern property line actually has a row of lilacs:)

  • I have a couple that I can't place.

One strong one I've been getting lately is a lemon scent and also a coconut pomegranate from Scentsy that makes me think of this toy I had as a child.

It was one of these cupcake dolls. The skirt folded up into the liner and the hat was the frosting.

  • That happens to me all the time. Scents always trigger vivid memories for me. I can't think of anything specific right now though.
