    Cycle/Month: 9/9

    CD/DPO: CD 16/ ??DPO

    W2O or 2WW? I'm assuming 2WW but am treating it like W2O

    Testing plans: nothing

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts:  I was finally starting to feel at peace with not being pregnant yet and then D starts talking about what we are going to do if we can't have kids.  I flat out said I don't want to talk about that since there is still some time before we need to be concerned.    I'm at the point where seeing newborn babies no longer makes me want to burst into tears.

Rant: I have come to hate my doctor's office. I was there 3x last week and every time I have to wait 45 min in the waiting room and another 15-20 min in the exam room for a 5 min appt, its expected at this point every time i go there and i did it when i was pregnant with DD. Anyway, i had a blood draw tues and then thurs with an u/s. I called 2x on Fri, no call back. I called on Monday and they finally called me back 5 hours later. Well at that point i didnt care and I cancelled my two appointments for today (one was a follow up u/s from my first on Monday night to see if in fact the baby stopped growing, etc--i also had an u/s Thurs and Im pretty sure that was confirmed then, and then right after I was to meet with the dr to go over the u/s) Well i figured im not wasting my day off to go there when i know I miscarried Tues night, esp since i would have to find someone to watch DD, etc. When they finally call me back the nurse starts with "what can i help you with?" Really, how about my damn blood test results....so my #s dropped, yeah i got that, then she is telling me i need to come in today so the dr can check me and do another blood draw, fine transfer me to the secretary, well someone snatched up my appt and they cant fit me in. Wed the dr was in another office and Thurs is my birthday and Im not sitting there for 2 hours, no thanks! I just finally said forget it, i have a 6 month check up with my primary next thurs and he can add that blood work in when he draws for a cholesterol check etc. I felt bad for giving the nurse an attitude, but stop telling me its really important for me to come back in if i have to call you 3x before you call me back and then you didnt bother to look at my chart before calling me, obv not that important.

ok rant over, thanks if you got through that and thank you girls for all your T&Ps last week!

Any Milestones this week? when i try and change her diaper she runs away from me and makes me catch her, then she shouts "I got you!" i swear she talks more and more everyday, H said he is def in for it b/t the two us!

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? i think my rant above was enough but I will add on the way to music class Fri, we were right down the road and DD puked all over herself, if last week wasn't bad enough, i had to drive 20 min back home with her playing with it! Get home, throw her in the bath and then take apart the car seat and wash it....

How do you feel? Good! Tired today as he had shots yesterday and didn't sleep well.

Any Milestones this week? We started solids yesterday! We steamed a sweet potato and gave him a hunk of that to gnaw on. He gagged a bit, but seemed to get a few bites swallowed.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? I got nothing this week.

Chart stalks/rants/Thoughts: I'm not temping again this cycle which is nice. I'm not feeling very optimistic about this cycle. I'm currently trying to get everything together to call my dr to request the SA and HSG next month before we switch insurances. And to call the RE that was recommended to me. I'm still being a timid baby about that.

@catwine‌ try to keep optimistic. I was like your husband at that point and started to get down, but it can still happen. FX!! Eta: and remember that without charting you may be missing your FW.

@islandmonkey8‌ good luck with everything coming up!!! Does that mean ER will be in the next week or two?! I'll be praying so hard for you!!

@mpjf1001‌ so many big ((hugs)). I left my obgyn after how they handled my miscarriage. I'm flabbergasted at how is many offices aren't more sensitive during that hard time.

@ramstein1027‌ I took the cvs gummy brand and they never upset my stomach. Now I've been taking some actual horse pill pnvs and I just take them at bedtime so any nausea is while I'm asleep and luckily it doesn't wake me up.

  • @goatlady12‌ I don't want to discourage you, but O never dropped. I was dilated and effaced, my water broke before contractions and I didn't feel her out of my ribs until about 30 minutes before I started to push.

@catwine‌ I agree with @ramstein1027‌ you might just be missing your fertile window by a day.

    @islandmonkey8‌ I'm praying for you!
  • @LDubHawksFan - ER is probably around the 24th.

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 5 months tomorrow. It's going by so fast :(

How do you feel? I've been in a perpetual bad mood with anyone who isn't 27 inches tall. I think i'm just burnt out from school and taking care of an infant.

Any Milestones this week? I set up his highchair and got out all the feeding stuff. We're going to start with some cereal in the next couple of days because he's really interested in food. And I'm hoping it will also help keep his food down and get him gaining some weight.

  • What a handsome little man @snuff9861!

  • Mommies: How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 8 weeks

How do you feel? Great! I'm working out more, E is sleeping more!

Any Milestones this week? 8 hours of non stop sleep! Twice! Then she slept another 4! If she keeps that up, I can wake up, feed her at 4 and start getting ready for work afterwards. Who would have thought I'd be happy about getting up at 4?!

She also has found her hands, and I wake up to her sucking on them.

    Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics?

    1. At E's 1 week appt the pedi mentioned my parents getting the shingles shot since they are 60+ and going to be watching E when I go back to work.  Well, my mom didn't know if she had the chicken pox since she was the 8th kid and her mom couldn't remember.  So she got a blood test and it didn't show an immunity to chicken pox so she was going to get that shot.  She was waiting to see where the insurance would cover to get it.  It was weird because my sister and I had it, and she never got it from us.

Well, this weekend my mom was complaining about her arm and back burning.  Yesterday she got a painful rash.  Guess who has shingles?!  They said E should be immuned from me BFing, and she wasn't in contact with the rash (my mom was with her Friday and Saturday, rash started Monday).  I'm still so scared E will get the chicken pox at 2 months.  I won't tell mom that, she feels so bad.  Here, since he has leukemia, the chemo etc kind of reset her immune system.  I feel like she needs to get tested for all the diseases you get shots for!

    2.  E  hasn't pooped in over a day.  I'm just waiting for poo-aplooza

  • @sjs1013 - I made lactation brownies.  Can't taste a difference!  Just add 2 tbs of flaxseed meal, 4 tbs of brewers yeast to the box instructions.  I had one this morning which I might regret.  I'm been over producing already (pumped 7 oz after feeding her this morning), but i wanted to taste it before I froze them.

Lactation Brownies and other recipes to increase milk supply. #breastfeeding

@goatlady12 - my stretch marks tripled after having E.  I had 4 big ones around my belly button, then a bunch under it showed up.  I call them my mama tiger stripes.

@ramstein1027 - I took gummy from walmart +DHA.  Took them at night when I was nauseous which helped.  You'll be ok with gummies as long as you don't have issues with iron, which is what the gummies lack.

@islandmonkey8 - Good luck!  Crossing everything for you!

What she said. Most vitamins mess me up, but I haven't had a problem with these.

Mine hasn't dropped much if at all. I find it is very important to maintain a schedule of pumping. I pump when I first wake up in the morning, usually around 5:30 and then at work three times at 8:30, 11:30 and 2:30. I almost always get right around the same amount of ounces every day. My first morning output depends the most on how many night wakings he has had.

Thinking of you both as you prepare to go back to work soon! I'm here to talk if you need it!

Pumping twins! I already blocked time for the conf room they are letting me use for 8, 11, and 2! I didn't think about pumping in the morning. I guess I should. I asked for 30 mins do you think that's enough time?

I've been pumping in the morning and I might pump at night now. I'm leaking when I get up with her sleeping so much, esp if she only eats one side before sleeping.

  • @mana8503‌ it was me who asked for the recipe. Thanks! I'm going to try fenugreek also. H's coworker swears by it.

I am trying to get on my work pumping schedule this week. I'm going to do when I wake up, 10, 1, and when I get home at 4. I've been pumping after first feed for a while and get a decent output since she sleeps longer stretches.

I leak like crazy if O only nurses on one side before bed. I always know it's going to happen but I'm too lazy to get pumping supplies and pump. H and I settle in bed when O goes to sleep.

I've been videoing O being cute and making noises to watch while I'm pumping at work. I'm planning to bring a shirt or something also to help with output. I'll keep you posted on how next week goes.
  • @mana8503 I usually pump for 20 minutes and it takes a few to set up and tear down. So, you should be fine with 30 minutes. I have a big storage capacity and only feed from one side overnight so I pump the side I didn't feed in the morning and get about 6-7 ounces. It takes the pressure off of pumping a set amount of ounces during the day at work. I usually average between 16-24 ounces per day pumping. If she is only feeding from one side at bedtime, I would pump the other right after she goes to bed too.

  • @mrshall1027 I use the Medela PISA and like it well enough. Replacement parts are easy to find and it is relatively easy to clean.

I know a few people who really love their Hygeia pumps and wish that would have been available to me.
