I kinda wonder if the original poster has narcissistic personality disorder as a narcissist lacks empathy and would not be able to understand how someone could enjoy a hobby that didn't benefit the narcissist personally.  It's all about her and her needs.

wow, this can't be real?????  If it is perhaps you should put yourself in his shoes- you are upset becasue he doesn't want to watch  the same movies that you like?  Heck maybe he wishes you would start playing the guitar- ever considered meeting him where he is?  You sound very selfish and not very worldly.  I hope this is a joke or that you go to therapy and figure out what it is that is deep inside of you that makes your resent your husband's totally normal and healthy behavior.
