How much space is needed for a combined kitchen family room?
We are looking to do an addition and add more space to our current kitchen and add a family room to it.
We essentially want to make this our full time living space with lots of comfy seating.
How much space do you think would be a good start?
We have the space to essential tear down and make a 25x20 addition open to our current dinning room.
What would be the minimum amount to add for this space would you recommend?
Re: How much space is needed for a combined kitchen family room?
I don't have a real answer, but IMHO I'd suggest measuring the seating. If you're looking to have sectionals and multiple comfy seating options, the floor space really adds up quick.
When we first started looking for our recliner couch, we immediately would gravitate to the largest section in the store, which wouldn't even fit in our 14'x16' living room.--We had to re-set our expectations due to our size limitation, you won't have to, so awesome!
