Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

  • I am a little late but I just wanted to say that I am very sorry that you are going through all of this with Joe.  You are such a beautiful sweet woman who deserves so much more.  Take some time for yourself and decide what you want to do.  Keep us posted.

  • I am so sorry that you are going through this!  What a $hit head!  Ditto all the pp.  Take care of yourself.  You will be in our thoughts and prayers.
  • Oh my, you poor girl! It sounds like you've found a bit of clarity throughout this entire situation. Hopefully you're able to separate yourself from Joe for a while and get things in order....for you. You may want to get a copy of your credit report just to make sure nothing funky is showing up under your name. I'd also suggest making your money YOURS and cutting off access to Joe. The last thing you need is him spending one more red cent on his addiction(s). It may be a good idea to take your sister up on her offer...at least for a little while. I'm so sorry that you have to go through this. Best of luck to you!
  • Congratulations to you for finally mustering up the courage to do what you have needed to do for some time now! You're right. Marriages aren't perfect, but they're certainly not supposed to be like what you've been through. You have put up with SO much, and it thrills me that you're finally finding your way out.
