    4. Least favorite sport?  Golf

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories?   DH is a HUGE Philly sports fan, and I'm sure he has some crazy stories, but I don't personally have any.

  • 1. Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, Indiana Hoosiers

    2. Football

    3. Although I was not there in person, my greatest sports moment was when the Colts won the Super Bowl. I screamed cried and stayed up all night watching ESPN!!

    4. Baseball

    5. I have been a huge Pacer fan since I was a little girl. Jermaine O'Neal was my favorite player when he played here. • 1. Favorite team(s)? Pittsburgh Steelers (duh) and the Miami Dolphins

    2. Favorite sport to watch? NFL Football

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced? The Steelers fourth SB win when I was a kid growing up in Pittsburgh. I wasn't old enough to fully appreciate the game itself, but there was no mistaking the pure joy that was everywhere. It was known at teh time as the greatest thing to ever happen to Pittsburgh.

    4. Least favorite sport? College football. Yeah, I know that sounds absurd gievn that I love the NFL, but I have some residual disgust left over from the years I worked in university admissions and witnessed some major abuses of the academic system in favor of football players and at the expense of hardworking students who took their education seriously and didn't have scholarships and perks to ride on.

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories? One time, my coworkers and I went to a Pgh Pirates game. Three guys were sitting behind us, one of whom started talking to me. A conversation ensued, followed by a request for a date, which I accepted. Shortly after the date, I got a phone call from his wife (and mother of their four kids) who found my phone number in his pocket. You could say she was pissed. Eventually I managed to convince her I didn't know the douche was married with kids and she stopped screaming at me and apologized, but that was one mortifying conversation. I really felt bad for her.

So now DH and I are the proud owners of a copy of The Last Lecture containing a personal message from Brady Quinn.

  • 1. Favorite team(s)? MN Vikings - I bleed purple.

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced?  Participating in the NFL American Bowl in Tokyo Japan in 1995.  MN Vikings vs Kansas City Chiefs.  It wasn't a legendary sports moment but it was still an incredible experience for me personally.

    4. Least favorite sport? diving, I always think they are going to smack their head open on that platform.

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories? I was proposed to on the 50 yard line at half time of a Vikings game.  I said yes but we ended up breaking it off about 6 months later.

    5. Crazy sports-related story: well, I got married on the day of the Florida-Georgia game last year (Florida's biggest regular season game).  That's pretty crazy for me / my family.  Oh, and at the 2007 Final Four, my dad and brother almost got into a fight with some ornery / bitter Ohio State fans sitting behind us.  Klassy!

I did this too, except it was at a bar during the second round after Greg Odon shoved Xavier's Justin Doellman out of bounds.  Apparently it's A-OK to shove a guy when he's mid-air because, "that is how the game is played".

  • 1. Favorite team(s)? Kentucky!!!

    2. Favorite sport to watch?  Football and Basketball

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced? UK beating LSU in overtime, also any basketball national championship

    4. Least favorite sport? Rugby? Polo?  I watch most major sports

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories? I love running into UK fans and other sports fans in airports or around.  Coach Brooks also told me he liked my shoes.

  • Wow, this is great, I never even knew this board existed!

    1. Favorite team(s)? All the Philly teams - Eagles, Phillies, FLyers and Sixers.  I also love the Olympics

    2. Favorite sport to watch? Football, I have had season tix for the Eagles for about 15 years

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced? The World Series parade last year and even though the Eagles lost, being at the 2005 Super Bowl was pretty cool

    4. Least favorite sport? soccer

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories? Oh man, too many to mention.  One of my favorites was double header day - I went to a 1pm Eagles game, tailgated afterward, changed into a Flyers shirt, walked across the street to the 7pm Flyers game and took the subway home.  Both wins - a perfect day!

  • I just noticed this sports board and it makes me quite happy since I love my sports!

    1. Favorite team(s)?  Gators for anything they play and then I stick to my Central Florida roots for pro teams with the Magic, Bucs (no matter how bad this year has been), Rays and Lightning.  And I'm a huge NASCAR fan - Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver.

    2. Favorite sport to watch?  College football.

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced?  Probably has to be the 1997 Florida-Florida State game that my Gators won 32-29 when Florida State came in ranked #1.  We stayed for what seemed like an hour after the game celebrating before leaving the Swamp.

    4. Least favorite sport?  Probably golf.  It's not very exciting to me on tv.

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories?  It's between getting up at 5AM to get leftover student tickets for the 1999 Florida-Tennessee game on the day of the game and letting the mob run ahead of us because I was not risking being trampled and there were still tickets or camping out in the rain and mud at Darlington, SC for the Labor Day weekend race in 2002 and dealing with too much drama, but seeing Jeff Gordon win!

  • 1. Favorite team(s)? New England Patriots, Pitt Panthers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Red Sox

    2. Favorite sport to watch? Patriots Football

    3. Greatest sports moment you've experienced? watching the Sweet 16 Happen ...

    4. Least favorite sport? tennis, golf, && soccer

    5. Any crazy sports-related stories? I live a couple miles away from Pittsburgh, and I'm a Patriot fan ... so everything that has happened to me isn't appropriate to say... but I'll say this much- the Pittsburgh people hate me, which is dumb, just because I like another team. Deal with it! If we all liked the same team, we'd have nothing to talk about && football wouldn't be fun to watch. It's the fun of any sport...everyone loving a different team :) GO PATRIOTS> I <3 you Mr. Brady & Mr. Welker. Get Better Mr. Edelman!!!
