Do you shop on Black Friday?

Yes!  I have been going since I was 16 with my sister, Mom and best friend.  I look forward to it every year more for the tradition than the actual shopping.  Once we are actually in the stores, we always ask ourselves why we do it.  We always go to Best Buy, Target, Kohl's and hit the outlet mall in the afternoon when it's less busy.  I usually get 90% of my shopping done that day!

I haven't in a few years, but this year we will be in Vegas for Thanksgiving weekend.  I can do a lot of damage in Vegas.  Sales or no sales.

I always go. I can't miss going to Target and Macy's. I like going to Kohl's too but the lines are soooo long there.

I didn't until after I got to college - didn't appreciate the deals beforehand. I event went last year, and I was 39 weeks pregnant.

I usually go to JCPenney and Wal-Mart...we don't have a lot of the bigger stores here.

It depends on where we are celebrating Christmas that year. H and I have one Christmas at home with my family in Orlando and the following Christmas in St. Louis with his.

If we are in Orlando, my cousin and his wife plus H and I hit the outlets at 12:00 AM. They open at 12:00 and don't close for 24 hours. I live in Orlando so we have a HUGE outlet. That's the only stores we go to because since it's mostly a tourist destination, it's not so bad.  Other then that, we don't go anywhere - we veg on Friday.

If we are in St. Louis, my SIL and MIL LOVE to shop so we hit lots of the decor/craft stores for Christmas decorations for the following year. We also hit the Galleria. I don't normally like shopping Black Friday but it's a tradition they have incorporated me in so I just go.

I do go if there are good deals that I don't want to miss out on.  I do not hit the electronic stores, that is madness I will not deal with.  Usually I map out what I want and in the order I want it most.

I sometimes venture out in the afternoon, but I can't deal with the crowds.  I have anxiety attacks with that many people pushing and shoving and I have a feeling I'd punch someone.  A friend of mine always goes to JCP to get some snowglobe that only the first 50 people in the door get.  She's gotten them all so far, but that's not my cup of tea!

I only go out for the good sales...I always do some research and print some coupons.  I usually hit Michaels (great coupons that day), Walmart, Target, Kohls....

You would have to pay me an awful lot of $$ to go shopping on Black Friday.  In NYC people come in from all over the place to shop our stores and it's a huge clusterfkuc of slow walkers...drives me crazy.

I go every year... but not early... I start at ~8am & go to the local outlets.  Last year DH came with me & we scored so many deals!  I was able to get both my "big" Christmas gifts - new sunglasses & a new winter jacket for <$100.

i work every black friday, but even if i didn't, i wouldn't be shopping.  it's way too hectic and people act crazy---not my scene.
